Truly a hidden gem. In a short period, this has become a treasure locally, something of a must see. The guys running this are true car enthusiasts and know these vehicles. If you're REALLY lucky, you might get to meet one of the vehicle owners and hear firsthand about the vehicles or even get a chance to sit in one! It's free to visit (although I left a donation) and there's a conference/meeting area if you have a business or social gathering and want to have an unforgettable event. I'm so glad to...

Stopped by the Kernersville Auto Museum, and I was mighty impressed. They got a fine collection of classic cars, all polished up and lookin like they just rolled off the line. You can tell the folks here care about keepin history alive — every car’s got a story, and they’re happy to share it. The place is clean, well set up, and worth the stop if you love old iron. I’ll be comin back again, and I’d sure recommend it to anyone who’s got a soft spot for...

Cute gem of a place in Kernersville. Took my dad who's a car enthusiast and he really enjoyed seeing the older cars and the trip down memory lane. Spent about 45-50mins here and the guide gave a brief story about the owner and selection; he didn't hover and we were able to view the autos at our own pace which was nice. No admission just donations, so it's affordable if you're looking for a quick activity. Pictures are allowed. Again it's cute,...

Great hidden gem. Free admission (donations welcome). The Kernersville Auto Museum is relatively new, but promises to be around for a while. We were lucky enough to come on a day when the collection’s owner was present, and he was kind enough to spend a little time telling us stories about a few of the pieces. Clearly, this 501c3 is driven by folks that love their community. This collection of automotive history is definitely worth a look.

Made a trip to this really cute Auto Museum. About 50 cars, many that you don’t see in restored condition (or in museums or car shows at all!) Over half owned by the museum founder, Jim Taylor, who was there. He is pictured in front of the first car he restored, an Austin. Each car has a unique story and history. Jim personally shared stories with me as I toured the museum. Worth a detour if you’re in North Carolina.

We spent a leisurely hour browsing and viewing this collection of vintage cars. It was a very enjoyable time and even if you’re not a car enthusiast it’s very cool to see the collection. They’re all meticulously restored, maintained and even road worthy! The volunteers were happy to share their knowledge and some stories as well. Definitely recommend if you’re looking for something to do in Kernersville.
