El Aguacate Express — Restaurant in Kernersville

I really like this place. It is also a nice atmosphere. They have tables where you can eat outside. The food has a authentic flavor. I have been here 4 times now. I have ordered online for pick up and it is nice to have that option. They also have a drive through window. I have had their ACP and the steak tacos. The tacos are small but they are good. I prefer the ACP because I feel like you get more a little more of a portion size. You get the rice, chicken with cheese sauce, you have to ask for the green peppers and other addons separate. You get a small bag of chips and a small salsa. I do like the flavor of the salsa. The prices are reasonable. i will return and maybe try different foods...

I initially rated this restaurant 5 stars back when they first opened, I may have been the first review. The food was good at a reasonable price. Since then, quality has declined and it has become incredibly inconsistent.

I usually order the same thing, a steak burrito and chips with cheese dip, but the last few times the steak has been burned black and hard. Other times it's drenched in orange grease.

The cheese dip is watery with weird clumps in it and has a funny smell. I didn't dare eat it.

This is the first and last time I’ll ever come here. The carne asada quesadilla I got from here had the thickest hair I’ve ever seen in it. Took one bite and had to throw it away after I saw the hair poking out. The quesadilla had an off taste to it. The other food I got was sitting in a puddle of grease. It’s too expensive for the small portion of food you get from here anyways. To the owners: if serving food is something you’re proud of, act like it. Stop buying low quality ingredients and charging through the nose for it. Don’t serve people crap food, and train your staff to be clean, you’re gonna make...
