Warning, long read, but worth it. I'm 65 years young, my wife and I owned a small heating and A/C company in Chesapeake Virginia for 28 years. We sold that company and went to teach HVAC at Boys Home of Virginia in 2014 and retired in July of this year. So, I think I know customer service when I see it. In November of 2019 I spilled coffee, with cream and sugar, on my computer on my brand new Mac laptop. Within seconds it shut down and would not start up. I did everything I thought might help, from blowing it out to putting it in a large bag of rice. It was dead. I live in a small town in the mountains of VA and didn't know anyone that worked on computers but I was going to TX to see friends in Center TX over the holidays and they had a computer guy they trusted so on that trip in December of 2019 I dropped my computer off with this guy and asked him to do what he could and I'd be happy to pay shipping or what ever to get my computer back when he finished. Fast forward to October of 2020. We are back in Texas and since I hadn't heard a word from this guy in Center, despite attempts to contact him, I managed to get it back. (Long story) We were heading to Kerrville to visit more friends and my wife's iPad starting acting up. I thought it was a bad battery as it wouldn't hold a charge. Our friends had just had a screen replaced on a phone by these folks at Bausen and liked their service so we dropped the iPad off with them. I told James we were only here for 2 days and he seemed confident it wouldn't be a problem to get the iPad back to us. Within and hour James called and told me he couldn't find anything wrong with the battery and asked me what charger I was using. He explained that I needed a 2 Amp charger. I was using one that was less than one amp. By the way, this is a 6th Gen iPad over 5 years old. I went to pick it up and James was very patient in explaining the diagnosis. So, no battery needed and an education in iPad charging. James even produced a 2 amp charger out of an "extra stuff" box, that had come in with a a truly dead unit. Nice! I went out on a limb and told him my problem with my laptop. He said to bring it in and he'd look at it but made no promises. After all it had been almost a year since the coffee accident. Thursday morning, our last day here I dropped off the laptop and gave him all the info needed to get it shipped back to me in VA. After all, the other guy had it for almost a year and couldn't, or wouldn't fix it. So, we headed out for a tour of the Hill Country with our friends. An hour later I get a call from Robbie telling me they got it to start up but needs some passwords. What??? I gave them what I remembered and went ahead with our tour. Another hour and Chris calls me to let me know they had the computer running and I could come pick it up. Again, WHAT????? These guys had come together and worked on cleaning up my coffee drenched laptop by removing components and scrubbing them with alcohol, just so they could get it back to me before I left for VA. When I went to pick it up James explained the process to me and gave me my bill. To sum it up, I got my $1400.00 computer back in less that a day for a price I couldn't believe. Thank you, James, Robbie and Chris. If I ever have need of computer help again I'm going to box up my stuff and send it to these guys. I have NEVER received technical help like this. Again, thank you so much from a...

Read moreHave an iPhone 6 that was almost at the end of its battery life. Called a local facility if they could put in a new battery. Yes, would take a couple days to order and with labor charges of one hour would be well over $100. Called Bausen, talked with James, asked him about battery and how long to get one. "About 15 seconds" cause we have them in stock. When asked about charges (well under $100), I almost fell out of my chair when her told me. It took about 20 minutes to change out the battery. Both Robbie and James are very knowledgeable "techies". I highly recommend them for all of your computer, cell phone, or network assistance. They are very competitive, very fair pricing, and very personable, and they know their "stuff". They will definitely get my return...
