ALDI — Attraction in Killeen

Good location ! Doesn’t share a parking lot with any other business, so parking isn’t hectic. Store is well kept and clean 🧼

I think the produce section could be better. For example, all cantaloupes 🍈 did not look good 😢 The employees are pretty nice, no problems there. Some foods are a better buy here, which is good.

The one thing that I do not like about the Aldi’s tradition, is having to bringing your own bags lol this may seem petty , but it makes a big difference. It’s like you would have to plan an advance to make a visit. Some people may be on the road already, need to make a grocery run, but they can’t , because they don’t have bags 🤬🤬🤬 lol

One countermeasure is to use their empty cardboard boxes ,that was used to stock their products. Because Aldi’s is not a big store, it also lacks in-depth variety. Like, I wanted to get oatmeal in a flavor that wasn’t regular or maple brown sugar... but it was nonexistent here. I also wanted less-sugar dried cranberries; also nonexistent. 🤯

Aldi’s is a great store and has some really good finds. Although some areas need a little work , I’m pretty sure you can find this store to some use. I still prefer HEB though, that’s just my personal...

I went here for first time and was fine with the store until a Gentleman Manning at one of the cashiers informs me that there is only one Line for two cashiers working . He points to the line that is long with other cashier . I only had one item . I had no issue with going to the back of that line and waiting my turn . The issue was that another African American family jumped this line and went right to his register . He didn’t inform them that there was a line and they needed to go to that line and wait , like the rest of us . I asked the young cashier his name . She gave it , I asked to speak to manager , which was young female . She saw the line and the people who jumped all these people . She agreed that it shouldn’t have happened . Meanwhile ..the younger cashier that helped me is now at this mans register whispering in his ear on what I asked of her . Is this professional? Should this be happening with customers? Should this manager handle this ? I think yes . What kind of store is this ?! I won't be back and there is no...

I have never been to an ALDI's I never liked. The stores are just the right size (clean and organized). The employees, are always (extremely) helpful and polite. Do wish that ALDI's carried a whole lot more German Products (they're not GMO'd, filled with soy or ingredients folks are unable to read or comprehend). People complain that the employees are not so caring? Well for those who complain... the world does not revolve around you, or anyone else.

ALDI's, ALDI's Employees THANK YOU for ALL YOU DO, especially since the new requirements came into play, customers using online shopping, vehicle (aka curbside) delivery... adding to an already full day schedule.... And putting up with rude customers with entitlement issues....
