Buddy's Home Furnishings — Attraction in Killeen

I have rented multiple items from here and paid them off. I don't know if they have new management or what because I don't go in I just call in my payments but, I have never had so many problems up until the last 3 months. I have paid off multiple items through buddys a washer, dryer, TV, bed and am now paying off a ps4. Because of covid and then breaking a bone I have been a few days late making payments and trying to catch up on bills. After calling explaining my situation and saying I will make a payment in full on whatever date they will run my card anyway without my permission putting my bank account negative or putting me in a hard spot because they could not wait an extra 2 days to recieve their payment. You would think after being a customer for years and paying off so many items they would work with people a little more than they do considering the ps4 is also almost paid off. Because of just running the card without permission I would not recommend this store to anyone. Not to mention the bed I paid off was supposed to be a new bed and was used you could tell because of all the scratches and a cigarette burn. I had to call and say I signed for new items not used and get replaced like I originally had ordered and signed papers for to begin with. I had let that slide though because the management was so good with replacing and fixing the situation at the time.The original management was way better, more perfessional, and over more qualified than Derick the one they have...

I just started my contract with them 11/6/18. My delivery was supposed to be today 11/8/18. The scheduled delivery time was 12-4. I recieved a phone call around 330 starting they were packing up and getting ready to deliver. No one shows up or calls for 1 1/2 hours so I called the store to see what the delay was and when were they coming. I was told they were coming, they got lost, GPS wasn't working! It is now 5 and my children have to be picked up before six 25 mins away which I clearly told them already. They acted as if that was irrelevant they said they were coming so I just need to wait. So I let them know I have to go I will be back in 45 min. I waited an hour after scheduled delivery so it's only right that they wait 45 min so I can pick yo my children. They said ok. Oh the way back I called to let them know I was on the way and werk be home shortly. This was at 545. They said ok I'll let the delivery delivery know. In waiting and no one shows up or calls again. So I call back at 630 asking if they were coming. They said let them see and never called back. Boy only did I waste a whole 6 1/2 hours waiting on them I still didn't get me furniture and they didn't even have the courtesy to give me a rescheduled time. I feel like if your going to be this neglectful of your customers this early on with no communication how are you going to be come scheduled pay day. Keep this same energy. If a day is missed and payment is late will you still be this neglectful....

They have been very professonal, very polite, and very....helpful (???). HOWEVER!!! They are HORRIBLE AT SERVICE!. Anything to be picked up, or deliverd, they are unhelpful on the phone. The pick up guys were nice and helpful. The workers in the store, claim to be doing all they can do, and working on it and busy with other customers so they will call you right back, 2 hours later, I'm calling them. If I could undone my buying of a washer and dryer from them, I would. I spent 500 on a used, yes I understand the meaning of used, washer and dryer set. 30 warrenty, day one the washer rocked and went crazy. Called, no answer, calling-------day 18, finally went back to the store to complain, they gave me feet for the washer, said it would be the fix! They were sweet, and nice and helpful, but it didn't fix the problem. day 30, they picked it up for "service", being told it would be picked up for service in 2 days from the store, spend a week worked on then brought back, 2 weeks later I'm calling again. Helpful nice on the phone, pitful service. They say on Monday I'll have a loner for free, sounds good, only time will tell, but again I WOULD NO GO TO THE STORE AGAIN...
