Kingman Dog Park — Attraction in Kingman

BURR city and potentially dangerous trip to a dog park. I was very dissapointed as this place is packed full of small burrs, so unless you want to spend an hour or more cleaning out over 500 burrs or potentially a trip to vet for missed burrs in paws or ears, i would go somewhere else. I attached some photos of my dogs legs after the park asan example.And if your already on 10 hr road trip....adding an hour to pull out burrs is very frustrating

The layout of dog park is otherwise nice, and people and other dogs were kind. But either be a dog park and maintain it, or dont do it if it's going to cause dog owners so much trouble or potentially even a hazard to our furry friends.

Update: after spending 30minutes pickung out burrs immediatley after the visit, here is the haul from another 30 minutes at home....see photo. And we'll have another removal session tomorro as there are so many...

It's a really nice dog park...but I took my great dane yesterday. they do have an area for small dogs and big dogs.but when I got out of my car there were 4 little dogs in the big dog area. Which I don't understand why they are in the big dog area when the little dog area had no little dogs in that area.. then as my dog was playing another man brought his little dog in the big dog area...why have two different area for big dogs and little dog if the owners bring their little dogs into the big dog area..so if your big dog is in the big dog area playing and a little dog is in there and happens to get hurt by a big dog...who's...

This is a decent dog park. It has 3 sections, small dog area, large dog area, and maybe a not so socialized area/puppies etc. The 2 main areas provide water and dog baggies for cleaning up after your pet. I believe the 3rd area has as bags and trash can, as well. All areas seemed to have a decent amount of shade also. I did see a lot of poop that was not cleaned up-(larger area) so watch where you walk and watch out for hidden holes in the grass as well. There are benches in all 3 areas and the larger area as a shade pavilion as well has a tunnel. The dog park does close on Thursday from 12-1:30pm...
