Cupcakes by Jan — Restaurant in Kingman

My. Very first experience in a bakery and immediate bad service. The lady there was rushing me through all of my time looking. And i was on a video chat to show a friend to help me pick something and this lady was right on me demanding to know if i was taking pictures to post on Facebook and give her a bad name. First off online anyone an copy paste whatever pics are on her own website. And secondly you get a bad name for horrible service. She also had a dog in the back room which i am guessing is where ahe cooks the food. As for the food. I only tried the cupcake which was good. Scones were i bit too dry. And this is all i have to say. I wont ever go back. WARNING to others -- she doesnt wear gloves and not only allows animals in her shop also allows her friend also NOT wearing gloves or washing hands to serve the food. My husband a professional chef in the food industry who was on video call was completely apalled at what he heard and saw through video. And she yells about looking and touching items you cant quite see. I also clearly see now Im not the only one with this problem. I should of looked better at reviews...

Online it said this place closed at 5pm on Saturday. I was so excited as we were driving on our way to Las Vegas stopping here in Kingsman. I got there at 4:50pm. I opened the door and two dogs started barking and came to the opened door. The lady, I guess this was Jan, said sharply “I’m closed. Shut the door so the dogs don’t get out”. First of all, GROSS that her dogs were there running around. I would never want to buy a cupcake from someone who had their pets around my cupcake. Secondly, why so rude to a potential customer? My husband and his twin brother birthday is today, I called the store and realized that she closes her store the same time I closed this store. The gal on the phone said she will stay open longer so i can buy some cupcakes for the boys birthday. I was so pleased to hear this, I rushed out of the store after closing and she was there waiting for me. I was told about Cupcakes by Jan by friends, they told me how amazing her cupcakes and I can honestly say her cupcakes are so Delicious now that's how cupcakes should taste.
