As many others have said, it's overpriced for a thirft store, priced perfectly for retail/ebay. The ladies at the register were talking about how much they could make off an item on poshmark. The owners like to clap back at anything less than 5 stars but if you keep hearing the same feedback maybe it's time to see the reality. It would be very hard for a less fortunate member of the community to come shop here.
I want to be fair as they are doing a service for the community with the revenue. 3 stars is an accurate reflection of the business in my opinion and I don't think I should be shamed by a Christian organization for expressing that opinion. It must be hard as a ministry to balance wanting to maximize revenue for their cause with providing a service for the less fortunate in the community. I don't believe this place is interested in finding that balance but has decided to fully focus on driving revenue for their cause. Not a bad thing, which is why I gave it 3 stars, but definitely leaves a bad taste in the mouths of those who would have shopped there to support the cause but were priced out.
Some items were priced higher than current retail. They did have a 25%-75% off sale, pink tags were 75% and we didn't see any, lots of 25% off green tags though. In fairness, it may have already been picked over. Still the original prices are so high that the 75%-50% off only makes it reasonably...

Read moreIt was good in the beginning when I 1st found this store, but it's been getting worse. I understand the good cause but I personally believe they care more for the money than the people. They'll charge $10 for a broken decor. They will say you cant make down payments but they'll turn around and hold stuff for other shop owners or certain people for days while you want to buy it. You can't say you're a non profit and try to charge $90 for 2 plates that was given to you. I would recommend donating to...
