FYI, what the City of Kpt and Sullivan County does not tell you… Both City and County, in the State of TN, require a 1% Revenue Tax paid through the State TNPAW account. Any revenue earned within both City/County have to pay a “REVENUE TAX” to keep their business license active. As a previous licensed business owner, I choose to eat that 1.1%. Obviously, RK has chosen to pass that on to clients. I did “knowingly added on 4+%” card processing fee and RK does not do that. Just trying to educate the public as to how much more it costs to legally run a commercial business. 1-Businesses pay commercial power rates that FAR exceed residential KW hour costs. 2-Businesses pay commercial utility rates that exceed residential rates. 3-Businesses pay commercial internet service providers rates that exceed residential rates. 4-AND DONT EVEN GET ME STARTED ON W-4 Federal and State FUDA/SUDA (withholding taxes… Social Security Taxes, Unemployment Taxes, and Income Taxes) taxes that EMPLOYERS HAVE TO MATCH in ADDITION to what the legally hired employee PAYS! FOLKS, please quit complaining about 1% when you don’t know what you’re paying for! Also, look at your...
Read moreThis is my 2nd review. Why is there no entrance to the mall? Went shopping inside mall today and looked all over for a Rural King entrance. There is none. You have to leave the mall and enter from the parking lot. Now if anyone from Rural King reads this, please open up a connection to the inside of the mall. Here is what we noticed: 1.Helpful and hard working employees Very large, convenient location and great selections Clean environment Pricing on certain items could be better Plenty of parking (but might become more packed during weekends) Overall I love that Rural King is in Kingsport. Great addition to this area. Loved the prices on my Boston Ferns $9.99!! I am sure there will be a few adjustments/ changes to your location...like a cart corral (to drop off shopping carts) etc. Can't remember if the one in Bristol has...

The same kind of business that would label products to be misleading because it is easier that way. We already have enough corporate welfare by way of city hall. We don't need to subsidize corporate retail behemoths through hidden fees as well.
My parents had a very bad experience with an employee here. They asked a simple question about pricing because of unclear signage and were made to feel unwelcome and insulted. The employee in question should have been fired. This kind of rudeness is completely unacceptable and stores should make all price tags clear and near to the product in question to...
