I've eaten here once before, but this is the first time I ordered a pizza. Italian Village had the reputation of best pizza in the Tri Cities, I'm a bit confused why this is is the case. We did not have any problems: service was swift and the setting is fine. The location was reasonably clean and we got, exactly, what we ordered: a large sausage pizza. So why were we not impressed! The sauce is first, it didn't have much flavor. Second, the sausage was different (like a long sausage sliced thin); we just didn't like it. Third, it was kind of salty tasting (maybe the sausage?). On the positive side, I will give the crust a nice nod as it has some crispness. I make a lot of pizzas at home and my homemade pizzas are every bit as good. The only location in Tri Cities I like better than mine is Raffael's. You may disagree, and that is fine, but, for our palate, we will not return.

This place is on the second floor of the mall and was recommended to us for their pizza. We love family owned places instead of chains so we came here today and tried a large pepperoni mushroom pizza. We got it with light sauce as sometimes I get heartburn from heavy sauce. It was really delicious, even though it was a thinner crust (definitely not as thin as a thin crust but more like NY style thin) it was crispy and delicious! Next time we want to try the other kind they have.

Fantastic. When I was a kid, my family would come here for lunch after Sunday church services. When you crave a piece of your childhood, you want the same feeling you had when you were a kid. The nostalgia kicked in and Italian Village lived up to the memories I have from my childhood. I had the privilege of sharing this moment with my husband who is from Texas. He loved it as well. Thank you for the incredible food and wonderful feeling. I love this place

Me and my family came for a nice family meal for my son's 17 birthday. From the beginning it was a let down. The service was not friendly, or helpful. We had to go get our our own food. In other Italian pizzerias I would be sat down, treated nicely, and the food brought to the table with a smile. Boy I missed Simms Pizzia tonight. Anyway we went to order our food, and found out that the lasagna was premade with hamburger and italian sausage in it. They couldn't make it fresh without the sausage. Then we was rushed when ordering. We heard our number being called and guessed we had to get our own food since it was not brought to us. The biggest let down was the food. My daughter's spaghetti tasted like it was premade, and the meatballs had no taste to them. My youngest son's pizzia was real greasy and rubbery. My steak calzone was ok, but not the best. My wife got some kind of baked shell dish that was ok also, but my oldest son, it was his birthday, had gotten the steak calzone also, but his calzone was cold in the middle tasted like it was not all the way done. It also had hair in it! We had also ordered some bread sticks with what was supposed to be marinara sauce, but turned out to be just tomato sauce. It had No seasoning in it! The bread sticks was mediocre at best. What type of restaurant does not have pitchers to make it easier for the customers to refill their drinks, especially when their is not any table service. For the price we paid for this meal it should had been a sit down meal with real Italian food, and service at the table with a smile. To add insult to the injury. I guess we was supposed to take our own trash, plates away, and clean the table. Nope not after dropping $70. Not satified at all, and we will...

We are from out of town & wanted to try something different than what we have at home. We walked in at 5:30 and they close at 6. We did forget that they close at 6 on Sundays and weren’t really thinking when we chose to eat there but we knew we wouldn’t be there long at all because we had plans after. We walked in & the guy at the register taking orders (later found out his name is Jason) WAS SO RUDE! he has the most piss poor attitude I’ve ever seen in customer service/restaurant atmosphere. I get people have long/bad days but he was absolutely NASTY. I wanted to leave before we even ordered but my step dad wanted to eat there… when my mom asked for a Togo box at 5:45 pm he was ugly to her too. My step dad asked him what his problem was and he along with other staff made every excuse in the world for his piss poor attitude & customer service. We were told “we close at 6!!” Repeatedly… other customers that were already seated and eating were also complaining of their horrible customer service and nasty attitudes. Will absolutely NEVER be back & will NEVER spend another dime there. We tipped when we paid because that’s the kind of people we are but this place needs to learn some CUSTOMER SERVICE! We...

Y'all Southern folks made a Jersey boy blush tonight! So my wife and I if you follow our journey's,we travel all over the country with her working in healthcare. Me being from Jersey I am a snob when it comes to pizza. I admit it it is what it is Jersey is the best pizza. I haven't had a good slice in over a year since we have been back on the road. This place came highly recommended from an Uber driver and many others in the community. I've heard this story a thousand times from locals. I said screw it, I'll bite. We always get a simple pepperoni pizza to start off. We got takeout and my wife brought it home. I opened it up and I smiled. You saw crisp crust right off the jump, then you saw crispy brown cheese with oil on top which means they use real cheese. Real mozzarella. The snap on this pizza is what really could have made me blush though! Being able to fold the slice in half and just have amazing flavor with amazing sauce. While we are in town we will definitely be frequenting this place and if anybody is reading this I highly and strongly recommend it. Cheers guys! Sincerely a fat guy...
