Big Blue Store - Kinston — Attraction in Kinston

So went into Big Blue on a Saturday trying to purchase a new hedge trimmer. I always preferred shopping at this location due to it carrying the brand stihl. In the shopping isle all of the prices where marked out, I asked an employee what the current price was of this particular hedge trimmer. The employee looked up the current price on her computer and stated that price was now $249.99 so I was thinking amazing there is a sale, I stated I will take it do you have any here? They did have them but they were in the back. So I waited listening to them yell and curse at each other the entire time until they found it. After about 45 minutes we were at the counter where he tells me the price is $370. I asked if there was another judgment available and the employee told me to ask the manager so he called her. After 30 minutes of sitting in silence in the area he called her from I decided she wasn’t coming. so I walked to the front counter where she was standing. I asked her if she agreed with everything happening as well of the 2 hours that has passed at this point? She called her boss who was the gm as she said, he offered $25 less. No thank you. Word is bond in my eyes and if the original price would have been $450 I would have purchased the item no problems. By the way I still need a hedge trimmer if anyone has a preferred...

Zero stars! went to the store because I saw a sign advertising a sale on planters. I asked looked at the planters and saw that they were ceramic and some were large and very heavy. The cashier, who was leaning over the counter, asked the manager if he could tell me about the planters. He stood there with his hand on his hip and said “what about them” in a curt tone. I spoke up and said I’d like to know the price. He said the best thing to do was to get one and bring it in. I stated that some of them were heavy. He told me to get a buggy. I asked “Are you serious?” and he shook his head yes. I said ok thank you and walked out if he store. I called back and spoke with him and told him about the poor customer service he provided and that I had never been treated that way as a customer looking for help in a store. I expressed that the planter still needed to be lifted and put into the buggy. Maybe a man would be able to but as a small female, it was inappropriate for him to ask me to lift something that heavy when I asked for help. Hebrendered no apology at all.
