House of Ink Tattoo and Piercing — Attraction in Kinston

My wife and I had visited the House of Ink last week and Artist Laylah Hues took us back and showed us their process of sanitation. She was so professional and her portfolio was very impressive which resulted in me scheduling my first tattoo the following week. The day of, I arrived early again with my wife (who had an appointment of her own) and Laylah again professional made sure that I was happy with the placement of the tattoo, offering to move it however much to insure my satisfaction, which was not necessary as she placed it perfectly with respect to muscle groups so that it sits perfectly whether I am flexed or not. She took her time to insure my lifelong tattoo was perfect. I recommend her as an artist and the House of Ink for their atmosphere which is very light and sterile. 100% satisfactied with...

I filled out the on-line questionnaire to schedule my appointment. It was an easy process with a few back and forth messages to share photos and what I wanted. Brandon quoted me a price and gave me a few date & time options to choose from. I picked the best one for me & they sent me a confirmation. At my appointment I read & signed their consent form. Brandon showed me the mockup & confirmed my desired location. He set up his station and got started. After the first stencil was placed, Brandon asked me to check it was good for me. I had him reposition it about ⅛ - ¼" off. He had no problem moving it. The second stencil he placed perfectly! The tattooing was done pretty fast, but without any undue pain. He covered the tattoos and gave me some care instructions. I definitely will be back for more artwork...

Had a great experience adding 2 more piercings to my collection (tongue and the other side of my nose). I'm rating 5 stars because I brought my family with me and my 3 year old has been wanting her ears pierced. They set up for her, marked her ears, and explained things to her step by step. At the last minute, my daughter backed out and changed her mind. The staff was SO gracious and understanding about the entire thing. I still paid for the piercing because I felt so terrible, even though they were not going to charge me. They had done every step but actually pierce her, and the set up is the most time consuming part. I was on the tattoo list, but my kiddos couldn't hang, so I had to get them home and in bed.
