MOD ON TREND — Local services in Kirkwood

I visited MOD on Trend yesterday and had a rather unpleasant experience. While shopping and trying on clothes, I had a dress in hand along with other items. As I approached the register, a sales associate unexpectedly came up to me and insisted on taking the dress because it was the last one and someone had ordered it online. I was caught off guard and felt quite uncomfortable. The situation left me feeling so disheartened that I just wanted to put everything back and leave.

Let me preface this by saying that the sales associate helping me was very nice and helpful and she was very apologetic about the situation. I wish I could review the products alone because the staff is always so helpful and friendly and the stores are always clean and very well put together but I despise any of the clothes I've gotten from MOD. I've had to fix everything to fit, I've noticed lots of loose stitches in clothes I've tried on in store... whoever is sewing some of these brands they carry is just not careful at all. The clothes cost too much to have to fix them. Any loose fitting dresses are made with cheap feeling fabric and the fitted clothes will highlight EVERYTHING you are insecure about... even if I wasn't insecure about something before, I sure am in MOD clothes. I have shopped here multiple times and really enjoyed my experience and the quality of items I purchased. The sales associates are very friendly and helpful.
