DnA Vintners — Attraction in La Crosse

Our visit to DnA Vitners was one of the highlights of our anniversary road trip to the Great River Road region of Wisconsin/Minnesota. Arvid and Diana, the owners, were a delight to meet and visit with, as were other friendly locals who were there on the Sunday afternoon of our Wedding Anniversary date. We tried many of their delightful wines and slushies, and normally we are only dry/red wine drinkers, however we found their concoctions delicious. The slushies, were especially unique and different from the often same-old boring ones at other wineries. Arvid and the other locals provided us with great local recommendations, since it was our first visit to La Crosse, and we came away happy and with a couple bottles of our favorites (the Pear and the Rubarb). Best fruit wines I have ever had. I hate the aftertaste that some can leave because of combining grapes and sulfites with the fruit. Many cranberry combination options. I loved the single fruit rhubarb, currant and cherry. Made with Door County cherries but the best tasting one we have ever had. We had been visiting Door County 35+ years. I would get my cherry wine here vs the wineries in the peninsula. Woman is so knowledgeable and works hard at perfection. Has some award winning wines! Had an amazing experience here! The owner was our hostess and was the most gracious lady. Came with members of my husbands family since we were in the area for a reunion and thoroughly enjoyed the wines. My wine taste varies across the board I like everything from Cabernet to Moscatos. The house reds as well as everything on their list was really good. I bought 3 bottles only because I was on a budget, and will be back the next time I’m in the area!
