I was amazed at how diverse the vistas ranged on days when southern California actually displayed a weather pattern aside from "hot" I have seen numerous changes on these mountains from October to February and I imagine these are the best times. But as far as the park goes its a very nice tucked away gem worth checking out if you are traveling between the two cites of Buena park and La Habra. I see plenty of potential to just enjoy a quick break from the local hustle and bustle.

The restrooms are clean, and open. This park has two playgrounds, and a good size cement path for an afterwork stroll. There are a few bbq grills and tables right next to the parking lot, so you could enjoy a summer cookout here with great convenience.

I mostly see families stopping by to take the kids out for the playgrounds, quick dates where couples hang out on the hills, study groups meeting for an outdoor session, dog walkers, and children riding small bikes. No coordinated sports going on here, just a simple park for the family with a great elevated view of La...

If you are looking for a park where you want to do a pre-op pictures like for wedding, prom pr just anything that needs a nice background this is where i highly recommend. It is not busy and it is conveniently located right outside a subdivision. It is open from from sun up to sun down. It is very safe since there is a fire station in the area. It is quaint yet very relaxing, the road is not an issue since it is not a busy street. Very close to a shopping area when you need to run and get something for your picnics. There are bunnies running around which add to the beauty of being in a park. Great for family especially kids because they have a playground and there is toilet. During summer this park is very much inviting because of the trees and they keep the place really clean and green. Parking is small but probably because it is not really that busy. High...

This is my go to park. Usually isn't crowded and there is also a well maintained restroom. Parking is somewhat limited but enough on most days. There are two sections of the park one being below and the other on top that can be accessed by walking further up. There are plenty of BBQ grills and tables throughout the park. This is a very peaceful spot and the park is positioned high up which means you get a good view of the LA area and can even see the Skyline on clear days. I recommend this park for not just gathering but also for a...

So glad I took the time to explore this little gem. Decent little walk uphill to the back areas with a nice play area for the kids at the top. Very nice open, grassy areas with nice shade all around. There are BBQ grills and picnic tables, and a surprising amount of trash cans throughout! All areas were clean and well maintained.
