Boba Loca La Habra — Restaurant in La Habra

Thought I'd get my family boba tea for Boba day April 30th and this place (now called Boba Frutti) was on the way home. Owner/gentleman was very nice but while I was there, he forgot to add milk to my jasmine milk tea. However, he quickly fixed the issue and added an additional stamp to the store's boba app promotion to make up for it.

After giving my family the drinks (the jasmine milk tea and kiwi refresher) they ended up being so bitter and terrible, we had to throw them away. I like my tea bitter/no sugar sometimes but this was something completely different. The jasmine milk tea had an off flavor and was gritty. HORRIBLE/DISRESPECTFUL SERVICE!!! Honestly I’d give this place zero stars if it was an option. I went in and ordered a hot coffee with cream and sugar. When the drink came out I noticed that the lady didn’t give me cream so I politely asked her for it. She literally yelled at me telling me to wait. So I waited for almost 10 minutes and asked again. She yelled at me even louder and told me to wait until she was done making all of her drinks. At this point, I didn’t even care about the cream, I was so upset because of her disrespectful tone and attitude. She was an asian lady around her late 20s and in the end, she didn’t give me my cream....

Not too busy around 215 on a Sunday. Got a large almond milk tea w boba, got exactly that. No complaints, not overly sweet or creamy, pretty balanced and had ample almond flavor. I initially thought there wasn't enough boba, you know, for a place being called Boba Loca, but it turns out there was jist enough to get through the whole drink without having to rip open the top or fish for the leftover pearls.

All in all, quick easy no hassle service, tap-to-pay debt card reader was super fast, and everyone inside was masked up and about 6 ft apart. Definitely coming back if I'm in the...
