I am utterly disappointed with my recent experience at Regal Theater. The quality of the theater was absolutely abysmal, leaving me with no choice but to write this dreadful review.
To begin with, the seating was extremely uncomfortable. The chairs were old, worn out, and lacked any form of padding. It felt like I was sitting on a wooden park bench for the entire duration of the movie. It's quite baffling that a theater of this supposed caliber would subject their patrons to such discomfort.
Moreover, the sound quality was horrendous. The audio was muffled and inaudible at times, making it hard to fully enjoy the movie. It felt like I was eavesdropping on a conversation rather than watching a film. Considering the high ticket prices, one would expect a much better sound system that offers a truly immersive cinematic experience.
Furthermore, the picture quality was far from satisfactory. The screen appeared dull and lacked clarity. It seemed as if the projector desperately needed an upgrade. It's disheartening to invest time and money into watching a movie, only to be greeted with a lackluster visual experience.
To make matters worse, the concession stand left much to be desired. The food was stale and tasted as though it had been sitting there for days. The options were limited, and the staff seemed disinterested and unhelpful. It's as if they didn't care about providing a pleasant experience to their customers.
Lastly, the overall cleanliness of the theater was appalling. The floors were sticky, and the seats were littered with popcorn and other debris from previous shows. It was not only unhygienic but also a nuisance to navigate through the mess while trying to find a suitable seat.
In conclusion, I would strongly advise against visiting Regal Theater if you value comfort, quality, and cleanliness. The lackluster seating, poor sound and picture quality, subpar concessions, and overall uncleanliness are simply unacceptable. Save your money and opt for a different theater that truly values their customers'...

Second. Have the courtesy to keep the refills available till the customers have left the building, if you don't want to honor the free refill after a certain time , let the customer know this before the purchase of the over priced large drink. Upon asking for the refill I was told the fountains are shut down and cleaned , I simply said , I paid for a refill, the guy politely said let me see what I can do. He spoke to someone , and she use a small cup to refill. So I got a small cup of pop no ice.
Third , as my daughter and I order our tickets we tried to get the center seats , we were told that seats 4 , and 5 , were unavailable do to seating arrangements due to covid. They were only allowing end seats , so ok , we got seats 1 and 2. Just as the movie was about to start. A couple comes in and says where is 5, and 6 ? ( to each other, not loudly) loud enough to where we heard them clearly. I can only assume they are sitting in the seats they bought.
Rant over, movie was great , wish we saw it at the Krikorian. This place , theater 13, still has old style stadium seats.
Oh yea , no dr pepper....
Read moreI'd like to take a moment to share an amazing experience from the manager Steven & assistant manager Joan. During the recent release of Beetlejuice which is my spouse' favorite film, Joan and Steven tried their absolute best to make it a fun experience.
Many people will try their best to put in a negative review because its something that offends them personally, but understand that these two individuals have made me want to travel 80 miles away from where I live just to see these two individuals and invest our time and money into Regal La Habra.
I've seen these two juggle rush hours, and slow times, and each one of them are a staple to why businesses can and will succeed.
Steven, you cannot do everything as a manager because you cannot split into 2 people, but I've seen you try by juggling everything that is thrown your way. Amazing job. Joan, you are an awesome soul and it is a pleasure every time we see you.
Thanks Regal! Keep...
