Griswold's Christmas House Display — Attraction in La Mirada

If you love National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation then you need to visit this home during the holidays. The owner does a tremendous job of transforming his home to look just like the Griswold home. Recently, he painted his house yellow and this past year he even built a 2nd story facade to make his single story home look more like the 2 story home from the movie. He has snow fall every 15 minutes and the movie is playing in the front yard. He has many, many great places to take pictures and selfies. We absolutely enjoyed this experience so much, they did an amazing job replicating the movie. We made sure to go with our Starbucks drinks to keep warm. Afterwards we came home and watched the movie "Christmas Vacation" We took as many videos and pictures as we could and we look forward to more years to come, should this display continue. The owners did awesome by coming up with this idea, from one crafter/artist to another. My partner was like a kid in a candy store, this being one of his favorite Christmas movies. So much fun! The owner of this house really does a great job on recreating National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation movie. Very well organized. Even had it all set up for social distancing as well. You can tell they do this for love of the movie and the holidays. Everyone was really respectful of the home and all their neighbors homes as well.
