Hacienda Joy Sauna — Attraction in La Puente

I've always loved how quiet and peaceful this place is.

It is a smaller korean spa with just the right amount of saunas and baths. There is no coed area which is wonderful for a solo spa trip.

I've been coming here intermittently for the last two years and pleasantly got to experience it today under new management and with a bit of a face lift.

I wasn't too deterred beforehand with the cleanliness, it always seemed hygienic, but I can tell they really scrubed down and cleaned out the whole bath area. It is now pristine!

The reception desk also got an upgrade and I was able to meet the new owner who was very friendly and warm.

Their spa services may have increased in pricing but I don't think by much.

The service itself is a lot of bang for your buck. I think my scrub lady may have removed about a pound of skin off of me. I am rejuvenated, pink, glowy and soft! Thanks Joy Spa!

note: I am reviewing only the women side. No idea what the men side is like, but given all the reviews it seems...

I visited for the first time today. It wasn't big, but it was nice because it was clean and quiet. But it was equipped with everything I needed. Most of all, it was nice because there was no damp smell that I felt when I went to the sauna. The music that sounded calm was peaceful. The temperature of the hot water was adequate, and the massage parlor worked hard as if he had a long experience, so I was able to relieve a lot of physical fatigue. The inside of the sauna is partially remodeled, and I'm looking forward to going back to the place because I think it will get better...

5 Stars to massage therapist William. First time today getting a massage and I am sold! I will return soon. He is professional, and very intuitive. I felt so relaxed and invigorated afterwards, the Men's Spa facilities is small outdated but kept'd clean. I did notice some guys in covert action So just go about your own business and you'll be fine. Friendly lady at front check-in...
