Meggie’s Lumpia — Restaurant in Lacey

Customer service is always top notch here! Meggie goes out of her way to accommodate customers as best as she can. She knows her customers by name. The food is the best Filipino food you’ll find in the Lacey/Olympia area.

The lechon kawali is my husband’s favorite, it’s always a full plate. The beef caldereta is my favorite - the meat is tender with just the right flavor and seasoning.

The pancit is so good. Has a lot of vegetables and noodles and always tastes so good!

Whenever we order party platters, we always order the pork lumpia. Tasty and fresh every time.

We had turon (banana lumpia) recently and it was absolutely amazing. Just the right amount of sweet and with generous portions.

The beef caldereta was flavorful and definitely a highlight. My husband really enjoyed the lechon kawali — it can be a hit or miss depending on the day, but when it’s good, it’s really good. The beef lumpia was also delicious and had great flavor.

That said, $15 for a longanissa plate with egg and rice and $11 for the halo-halo felt a little pricey. As a fellow Filipino, I can’t fully justify paying $15 for a longanissa plate, even understanding that food truck costs can be higher. Maybe it’s just how prices are here in Washington.

Overall, I’m happy to support Filipino food and Meggie’s has a lot of great flavors — just something to keep in mind if you’re watching...

All menu item with rice comes with drink for the price. Short list of menu but all delicious. My fave is caldereta/rice. Most popular i think are pansit/ lumpia combo and the lechon kawali/rice. Prices around $16/meal Also sells halohalo kaya lang medio mahal $11. They also cater. I ordered sisig before for a gathering and family said very tasty. "Lutong kapampangan masarap talaga."
