Went for a softball tournament on a Sunday. Playground was busy with people from the tournament but from two birthday parties as well. People from one of the parties were blasting music extremely loud, which bothered some people, but I didn't mind. The playground was nice and big and clean. I didn't use the restroom, but most seemed to be locked, which didn't make sense for such a busy day. Young girl at the concession stand seemed very unhappy to be there and not super friendly, but the food was good and not too expensive. Fields were well kept and clean. I liked the big baseball numbers at the top of each field fence. Lots of parking. We didn't use the skate park, but my husband said it looked awesome, and we may go back to...

Update: 16 April 2022: I'll say they sure use a lot of power equipment, i.e., weed whackers, mowers and leaf blowers. I guess it's spring.

What a wonderful community park, a place of "ordered liberty" as one famous Supreme Court Justice would say. The park is divided roughly in 3 parts:

  1. baseball diamonds (3) and tennis/pickle ball courts;
  2. soccer fields (several); and
  3. the covered area, playground, bathrooms, drinking fountains, picnic area, skate park, and parking off of Ruddell Road and also off of 45th Ave. There's also a seasonal snack bar for ball games, I'd guess.

The bathrooms are extremely clean and the park is very clean and manicured, too. No smoking nor vaping, so it's family oriented. A real jewel in...

This park is always well maintained, its popular and often filled with team sport activities in the afternoon. Early mornings are usually very nice as there is just enough people to have the park not feel empty but also lots of space all around. Great for soccer baseball football tennis or skating. Play area is a good size and seems to stay well occupied by friendly park visitors most days. There is some good walking area and a little scenic pond that is the parks nicest spot and also grossest, it looks nice but the geese make a "mess" all around it so it's a nice walk but a bad play area. All in all it is one of my favorite...

Nice park, it's pretty huge, has a large parking lot, and has a lot of things to use such as: playground area, basketball court, tennis court, baseball fields, soccer fields, skate park, and restrooms. Tons of open grass to utilize for volleyball nets or whatever you feel like using the open area for. There are a few gazebos and picnic tables as well, and a few park benches. Very few shaded areas though, not a whole lot of trees, so if you want shade then definitely bring your giant umbrellas or canopy's.

The fireworks display on Independence Day Eve was really fun. I was surprised that there were more people than I thought, but it took a short time to get out of there. It was impressive to see people coming out of the place in an orderly manner. Exciting music played during the fireworks display, and it was a really happy moment.
