I’m convinced this place doesn’t actually exist as a local florist and is instead a shady wholesaler posing as one - selling overpriced, poor-quality bouquets under the guise of being a neighborhood flower shop. Try searching “Williams Flower & Gift [insert city name]” and you’ll likely find nearly identical listings in multiple cities.
I ordered from them twice to send flowers to my stepmom. Both times, the bouquets arrived either late, in terrible condition, or both. After the second disappointing experience, I stopped using them, suspecting something was off.
Fast forward a year: after a traumatic event, I received two bouquets from two different people - both supposedly from a “local florist” with the same Williams Flower & Gift name. Both bouquets showed up wilted and half-dead. What struck me as odd was that I live two hours away from my stepmom…why would a small, local flower shop from her area be used to deliver flowers to me?
So I did some digging. It turns out there are “Williams Flower & Gift” listings in nearly every major city nearby, all using stock images and storefront photos that are clearly photoshopped or pulled from unrelated businesses.
It honestly makes me sick thinking about how many people have been misled into giving this business their money. The glowing reviews have to be fake. Do yourself a favor and support a truly local...
Read moreSo I have used this company before with good results, but likely won't be doing so again. Ordered flowers for my wife to be delivered on Valentine's Day. Ordered well before the deadline for delivery listed on their website (via a countdown clock by the way). Order was not delivered and no explanation was forthcoming. Called today, was placed on hold for about 20 minutes, only to be told flowers could be delivered tomorrow (16 February). Yeah, I want flowers with a card that says "Will you be my Valentine?" delivered two days late. No thanks. Issue a refund and next time don't advertise a service you can't provide. This is the one day of the year you have to get it right, and you didn't.
Update in reply to owner's response:
I understand mistakes happen, but you have to understand this is a big deal for some people. Valentine's Day is the one day you can least afford to make mistakes and when you do, when they are most costly. The proposed solution from the customer service rep (delivery 2 days late) made me think you all didn't just run out of time but also ran out of resources. If she had offered to have them delivered today I would have agreed and honestly probably wouldn't have left a review because it would have demonstrated an effort to make it right. Bet when the mistake is paired with the proposed solution and both miss the mark, it pushed me...
Read moreEdit: they did deliver the flowers just three days after Valentine's days. I understand there was a little snow so I'm not completely blaming them. But I did get 2 different emails from them one saying they attempted the delivery (after the time I paid extra for them to deliver it) and another that's said they didn't even try to deliver it because of the snow.
So some of this isn't their fault. I ordered some flowers to be delivered today. However, the place they were supposed to go was closed because of weather. I called early and left a voicemail to change the location and I also emailed. I know they are busy but i have not received a call back at all today. The time for the flowers to be delivered has come and gone and still no call. I have called and emailed multiple times today and have heard nothing. This is disappointing, I spent a extra for the "cupid" delivery and everything. Sorry but I will not use...
