This place is a dump now. Especially during summer what seems like a very populated place also brings in a lot of trash that's never picked up, broken glasses and debris in water. It's completely disgusting that reminds me of Salisbury Beach in Mass. For whatever reason the crime rates have gone up and the area towards Mt. Washington cruise ship (which looks very outdated by the way) are run down. Like others have said, the mini golf has shutdown, the restaurant towards the Pier looks very outdated and falling apart and overall there's nothing attractive about visiting this area any longer other than dealing with lots of traffic and overpriced parking you'd pay in downtown Boston. Very disappointed how what once used to be a decent beach and area to visit now reminds me of a cheap backup option when you can't make it...

The food was good, I ordered ribs, beans and garlic mashed. The smoke was very noticeable on the ribs and was delicious. Problem was that they had a band in playing at 7pm on this Wednesday. They played some kind of folk type music which included a fiddle and two very loud guitars, we were at the farthest table and could hear each other, we asked the waitress if it could be turned down a bit which it was but for only 3 songs then right back loud again. We had churos for dessert out on the patio away from the music(it was overcast and rainy in general which is why we reserved inside. I could understand the music being loud later in the evening but not at dinner time, they were playing like they thought we were all there just for them, half the restaurant patrons left not long after they started and...

Crystal clear lake water and sand beach were so impressive. As we went there in winter, there were nobody except my family. I remember so many people crowded(with loud music too) in summer season. I like scenic harmony of calm water with yellow, red turned autumn trees, and really worth to see.

Lovely park setting at Weirs Beach with a lovely history. Bring a picnic lunch since there are picnic tables and grassy spots to enjoy. Bring your bathing suit and take a dip in the beautiful lake or watch all the different boats come in and out through the canal. Great day!

Very nice park. Very clean and well maintained. Very close to many things to do. Was not crowded at the time of my visit but, seems that it could be very busy. Nice stop.
