Acadiana Center for the Arts — Attraction in Lafayette

Two floors of wonderful space for individual and group exhibitions. We visited on Art evening and found they also had a little party in the lobby for children for the Frozen movie. I was impressed that the DJ was also a kid! They had lights and lots of kids dancing. The concession stand had specially named drinks and popcorn. Elsa's hit chocolate seemed the favorite. Great to see yhis space is used by all ages! Therr was also a solo exhibit photography on black horse riders that was very interesting and upstairs they had group exhibitions as well. Seating and bathrooms are easily accessible. I only wished they had a little more info on the group...

Intimate venue with amazing acoustics and great seating, regardless of where you sit. The Acadian Symphony Orchestra, whom we saw perform incredible arrangements of one of the contemporary composer greats - Peter Breiner, who also conducted the ASO and performed with them, together with a young and very accomplished violinist soloist - Filip Pogady, were fantastic. I've seen a few events here in the theater, and visit the gallery during art walk. The facilities are all very nice and it all has a very sophisticated look.
