Nabil Loli, the owner of this Lafayette Syrian/ Lebanese deli, is a first rate person of impeccable character. This eatery is a Lafayette institution. Go for the gyro, grape leaves, or Hummus. Don't forget the Hummus... It's the real deal . And is some of the best in town. Also, if your lucky, you'll get to place your order with Mr. LOLI HIMSELF. who is also quite the accomplished artist and painter. But whatever you do make sure you treat this local with the respect he so greatly deserves. Because if he is not shown respect them I will take it as a personal affront. And then you'll have to deal with.... Well... Noone... Because I'm a peaceful understanding person. And we'll... Sometime we all just have a bad day. But if you want a 5 star experience from a 5 star native son, by way of Damascus Cyria, then head to Cedar Delli and get your Greek...

Amazing. The grape leaves actually floated over the counter, entered a graceful orbit around my table for a few minutes, and then flew into to my mouth all on their own, somewhat like tiny spacecrafts docking with a mother ship. Also, the parking lots of small businesses rarely accommodate my penny farthing. But low-and-behold, the lot at Cedar Deli has an entire section reserved for penny farthings, uni-cycles, and copper-plated Applehans. And lastly, whether I'm placing my order through a series of puns, riddles, and metaphors, or simply gesturing with my monocle pinched between the thumb and index finger of my prosthetic hand, the professional and well-groomed staff at Cedar Deli always get my order right. Cedar Grocery is by far one of the best sandwich shops around! Always fresh, always delicious! The owner is serving family recipes that have become local favorites. I’m addicted to the farmers paradise and grape leaves! I could seriously have this lunch every week. Their falafel is super duper; the pickled turnips make this a special sandwich. The hummus is also top notch. My meat eating family love Cedar’s kibbi. Coming from a family with roots in Lebanon this is our favorite place to find...
