Escape Room 66 — Attraction in Laguna Hills

This place was excellent for my son's 12th birthday party!! From planning to the day of the party, everyone I encountered was beyond nice! I was looking for an escape room with an attached party room and this is the only one around. In the past I had an escape room party at another venue but we had to walk across the street for pizza afterwards so I was so happy to find this place. Before booking I went there to check it out. I initially picked the Dog House thinking it wouldn't be too scary for 11/12 year old boys but the owner recommended Prison Break and I'm so glad she did! She was so nice in showing me around and even let me go into the room so I could check it out. Well she was right because the boys had a blast in that room! The game masterss, Jade and Lila, were fantastic at guiding the boys and running the party. They even let me watch from the monitors. This place made everything so easy! I showed up with cake and chips, organized The Pizza Guys (another 5 star place) to deliver pizza before 11am, and Escape Room 66 took care of the rest! Escape Room 66 was an absolutely incredible experience! We brought our high school lacrosse team—30 players—for a team-building activity, and it exceeded all expectations. The staff was beyond helpful and accommodating, making sure everything ran smoothly and that the boys had an amazing time.

The escape rooms themselves were challenging and engaging, really pushing the team to work together, communicate effectively, and think critically under pressure. It was the perfect way to strengthen their teamwork in a fun and exciting environment. The experience truly brought the boys closer, and they walked away with better problem-solving skills and stronger bonds.

The candy bar was a fantastic touch, providing a fun and sweet way to refuel, and the break room was both comfortable and inviting. While it is on the pricier side, it’s absolutely worth every penny for the quality of the experience and the impact it had on our team. GO! Just please go. Escape rooms are made by how well the components in the game work, and how engaging the puzzle leader is. Prison Break at Escape Room 66 wins in both regards. We escaped from the room in Irvine and had a terrific time doing so! Everything that needs to open or close or be visible or lock or swing or move or stick or whatever you need it to do works like a charm in this room. There is a tv screen where your hints are clearly displayed, should you ask for them. The room is clean and well-maintained. And puzzle leader Taylor is a real joy. She's fun and light, gives incredibly clear direction at the start of the game, and provides thoughtful, truly helpful hints throughout the game. She even remembered the names of our team members and used our names in providing the hints! That's pretty above and beyond. I am an escape room junkie who's done dozens of rooms, and Escape Room 66 truly stands out. I can't wait for their next...
