Irvine Murphy Beds — Hotel in Laguna Hills

I liked the fact that you could buy an off-the-shelf wall unit and didn’t have to have it custom made. However, there cannot be any customization other than what they offer with cabinet sizes which are all fixed. And, The unit would only accommodate a 10” mattress which we thought might be alright at the time. So we bought it. Installation was seamless and everything seemed fine. However, It wasn’t. We wanted a thicker mattress and when we inquired about having an adjustment made to accommodate a thicker one, we discovered that it could not be done (by them, anyway) They suggested we buy a different 10” mattress. Not so happy. If you just use it once in awhile for guests, it would probably be fine. My daughter was using it every day so she could have more room in her bedroom but realized she needs a better...

I'm a little disappointed with the quality of our wall bed, especially the finishing. The installers walked away leaving it quite dirty and the company has been unable to give us anything to cover up the numerous big ugly black screw heads. We are on a quest to discover our own solution for that. Further, we were promised delivery on a Friday. Got a short text message Wednesday to say that wasn't happening (after we had made special arrangements to be there as we live 3 hours away). I didn't hear anything again from them until AFTER I contacted them on the following Wednesday. No apology. The mattress they sold us was overpriced for the quality and not at all comfortable. We will be changing that...

What a no hassle shopping experience . My wife and I went there on a Saturday to look at wall beds. Joe was wonderful, showed us the different styles of the beds. No pressure to buy from him. We found a Murphy bed that we liked and picked a date and time that was convenient for it to be delivered and installed. The delivery/installers were there on time, and within 2 hours were done. No mess was left behind and they even wiped off every bit of was installed, no manufacturing or instalation dust was too be found, what a great bunch of professionals.
