Let me say this I work around the corner, my partner wanted to enjoy some good Thai food it looks promising. So we're seated and I already had a feeling like something was off. Our server assist us, grabbed our drinks and order. The food was great, nice selection of varities. Mind you we were the only people left sitting in the restaurant when another Thai couple comes in. So we're waiting for the check there's Noone around. I'm like okay let me be more patient since we're waiting there roughly about 20 minutes. So the wife of the restaurant the server hands me the check. Mind you I'm being stupid polite until she gets angry with me saying you paid two dollars for your bill and starts getting loud. I said correction I tipped you 2$ because your service and attitude is horrible. The fact she was trying to get snippy and loud was embarrassing. Your lucky to even receive a tip. She trying to demand I tip more. Excuse me, the only thing I highly recommend is the attitude. That needs to be highly adjusted. The fact we came in here with an open mind, trying to give these people the benefit of the doubt proved my gut feeling was right. My partner was embarrassed because I tipped not accordingly I simply said if they were more attentive, and more positive I would've left more. She was trying to make it look like I was broke and couldn't afford our meal. Hate to break it to you. I will not be returning to this location rather go to the Thai restaurant in orange which is cheaper and the customer service is amazing. At least they are well mannered and attentive. If you are looking to eat here just be prepared to have the attitude rolling in. Wish I read the reviews sooner. How you going to judge someone by the way they dress, foolishness. Your lucky I'm nice enough to leave two stars. If the owner is reading this please take notes, fix your attitude, be more attentive, don't be talking about your customers if you want them to come back, if you want people to leave you a nice tip, all you gotta do is be nice and stay positive. Also there's no need for you to be hiding in the back, when you have guest eating at your...

It's been a minute since I've gone out for Thai, and I was glad I randomly picked this place. I work so close to this place and surprisingly haven't come across it. It's definitely not easily spotted on any of the main streets and is in what looks to be a somewhat dead strip mall, or at least that's how it looked when I went during dinner time.
My girlfriend and I came here a few hours before closing, hoping there wouldn't be a wait. Luckily there wasn't! There was only about 3 parties dining in.
When you walk in you'll see some nice lighting along the left wall and a fairly clean restaurant.
We got seated, ordered some hot tea (it's cold nowadays!), and took a look at the menu.
The menu has a lot of items, like appetizers, rice dishes, and more. I went ahead and ordered the Pad Thai Combo, my girlfriend got the Pad See Ew, and we got the Mango Sticky Rice to finish it off.
In case you're wondering how the food was:
Pad Thai Combo: Delicious, and a hefty portion. The combo has pork, shrimp, and beef. The menu doesn't say that you can choose a spice level for this dish, so I specifically requested it to be very spicy. It was perfect.
Pad See Ew: My girlfriend liked it, and I also tried it (and helped her finish it). She got it with pork. The pork was cooked well done and the noodles al dente. I'm not a fan of this dish in general anywhere, but I can say it was pretty good.
Mango Sticky Rice: Ripe mango and sticky rice, incredible. I feel like the rice to mango ratio was just right for me :D.
Service was good. The server was friendly and we were greeted when we entered as well as when we left.
There's plenty of parking. There are neighboring businesses but many are vacant.
Give this...
Read moreAfter several weeks of mediocre to bad dining experiences, finally a place I can rave about! This thai restaurant is located in a offbeat strip mall in Lake Forest. We showed up for dinner at 7 on a Saturday. There was a good stream of people in and out and the interior had a chic thai express decor. Well lit and clean, the dining area is gorgeous and utilitarian simultaneously with the kitchen and bathrooms partitioned away with beautiful wick dividers.
Make sure to check in on yelp and get a free thai iced tea! For a starter we ordered Chicken Tom Yum spicy soup. The soup was perfectly flavored. The broth was fresh and lemony. No artificial tang from salt or spice from some sauce. The spice was with fresh chilies and the tang was lemon juice. One bowl was enough as a starter for both of us.
For our main course we ordered a Chicken Pad Thai spicy and a Chicken Red Curry with some white rice. The pad thai was really on point with the perfect spice and sweet. They serve enough to fill two people and they make everything only when ordered. We were so full from the Pad Thai, we took the Red Curry to go and will eat for lunch today.
For all that food, our bill was less than $30. I was pleasantly surprised with such a bargain for such a feast. I hope to come...
