My review is not a good one. Less than 1/2 star. Techs & workers were fine except my scan was scheduled for 9:45. The scheduler told me to be there at 9:15. Day before scan, I’m told 8:45, for paperwork which took 20 minutes top! I sat in that cold reception area from 8:30-9:30. My back was tightening and it was hard to get up. Hello, my scan is in 15 minutes! Reception tells me not to worry, they’ll take me in the back and give me an 18 oz cup of cold water. Yes, I’m taken back to the waiting room. It is freezing. Blankets were available but I needed was heat!! I sit there from 9:30-almost 10:30. My back pain is severe & I'm sitting in a room while others come & go in their gowns. I walk to reception, when am I going in? Said they’re waiting for the labs from my doctor. Why not tell me this? It’s now 45 after my scheduled scan! I tell them I got called & they were normal. If I didn’t go in soon, I would need to make calls to pick up a child. They need physical reports. Why the hell didn’t you ask for them when they made the appointment. My appointment was made 7 days ago! I’m now IN PAIN. I’m now TREMBLING from the cold. Miracles! They have the labs. I put on a gown but I’m freezing and trembling & told to be still. WTF! My back is having spasms. I could barely get on the CT table. Trembling, tech tried to warm me but I had to drink another 18 oz cup of cold water. Why is it so cold? Owners won’t give key to thermostat. I got the scan done. They validated THREE hours of parking!! The scan took all of maybe 35 minutes! Why? Talk to me. I know you saw me sitting in that frigid room watching a stupid Canadian version of Candid Camera or Funniest Videos on a loop! If I could lift my leg, I would have thrown my shoe at that TV. I almost cried when I got off the table. I’m still in spasm with my back 24 hours later! I was not given the respect I deserve. The tech apologized profusely but why wasn’t I informed the reason for the delay. I told them, I AM IN PAIN! Find another imaging center. SimonMed will never see me again and since they didn’t answer my email to speak to an administrator or office manager, this is my story. SHAME ON YOU SIMONMED. Read moreUpdate. My chiropractor sent me back again to try simonmed out and took a chance based on my last experience. The office was not busy and so the wait time was minimal. The technician was rude. He was a heavier set guy with a beard. He was short and abrupt like he only cared about screening me for my exam. I didnt ask any difficult questions. I only was confirming what he was screening me about. I guess this company just has a bad reputation of front desk girls and technicians. I feel that the workers hate working for their boss. From what I notice no one smiles and everyone has a rude attitude. Shame on simonmed for not taking care of customer service.
If I would give zero stars I would. The front desk girl which I believe her name is "Leah" never greeted upon arrival and could only see that she was busier with her cell phone. After I checked in, she told me that it should be a 10–15-minute wait time. After 30 minutes I asked her what the delay was and told me she would contact the tech to get an update. I overheard her on the phone asking about the wait time which I could only assume would be the tech. I waited for her to finish the phone call to give me an update and she never did until I had to get up again to ask her. I sat down again to wait for my scheduled appointment. I then noticed another girl come out of another office which looked so trashy. Her hair was not brushed and with the shirt she was wearing could see a distasteful tattoo across the top of her neck and below her elbows. Finally after waiting 45-55 minutes passed my scheduled appointment, I got called back for my exam. During that time I never once got an update after asking the wait time from "Leah" after asking her. I know my ordering doctor has told me they send patients to simonmed. When I have my follow up appointment, I will be sure to inform my doctor about my experience. Between the front office and the trashy looking girl I can only imagine what distasteful simonmed presents...
Read more9/22/25, couldn't write a second review from this morning's complete waste of my time again, so here is a revised review. Again, this is not a review of staff, they are always very mice and this is not their fault. That said, I called to confirm days and hours of operation before setting out to obtain my X-Rays this morning. I was told that X-Rays are only done on a walk-in which I had already learned (see below) previously. so, I drove all the way there, walked in, and was promptly told that "we don't have an X-Ray technician here on Mondays, we do on Wednesdays." ARE YOU FREAKING KIDDING ME!!! After calling and verifying days and hours, would have been so nice to know that THIS MEDICAL IMAGING FACILITY DOES NOT DO X-RAYS ON MONDAYS OR TUESDAYS... So, when I got home, I again called the number, spoke to a fellow in a different state, told him how my morning went, and suggested that whoever is responsible for the website should put not only business hours, but days that procedures are actually available at each location. He was very courteous and agreed with me, but, do you think that SimonMed will actually do it? Yea, me neither...
(Original review 2022) The staff members that I encountered were all top notch, very courteous, very nice. But I went there for an X-ray and the person from the company that I spoke with on the phone, whom I believe was in Arizona, scheduled me for a 3:00pm appointment. When I arrived, I was told that they do. It schedule appointments for X-rays and I had to wait, which I did, for two hours. So my 1 star rating has nothing to do with the employees, they were great, super nice. My 1 star is for the Simon Med policy, not accepting appointments for X-rays is ridiculous. The one star also goes to the off-site scheduling department for not knowing that this particular office does not accept...
