Lake City Bowl — Attraction in Lake City

Would give 0 stars if I could. Me and my boyfriend traveled from North Georgia to spend time with family and it was a huge let down when they refused to let us bowl. Earlier in the day (around 1:30pm) we asked what time they would be opening back up after 5pm and they told us 9:30pm to 11pm. We showed up at 9:45, There was only a few lanes open and they told us they can’t afford to keep the lanes open if there wasn’t enough business. Right before we walked in there was a group of about 10 that they also kicked out. Seems like to me they don’t want the business... On our way out, they came behind us and locked the doors. Very rude old lady and man at the counter which I was told was the owner. Another car pulled up as we were leaving, and they they had also called before showing up and was told that they open at 9:30. They called the store while in the parking lot and complained that there was a group of around 20 people out here that would like to bowl. I would recommend to NEVER bowl here or to give this company any money since they don’t value their customers or their word. This is the Only bowling alley in town but I suggest to drive a little farther to Gainesville to Splitz. Do not waste your time...

We absolutely love this place… food is great and the people are always friendly. The owners are great and try to accommodate and be fair to everyone… especially when people are rude and not listening I’m not sure how she does it sometimes… I want to thank her last night for keeping her stance on the family that saw a line waiting and decided last minute they wanted the extra lanes and told them no there is a line and they would have to get in line. I wanna thank that family that wanted to keep pushing and being rude to not only the person that is giving our town something to do with all of our kids but to the people that were waiting for that one lane to open because not only did the one lane open but your lane became open so that was less time my family had to wait for a lane. This is a great place and I’m glad to support small business owners in our town and make sure we have something fun and not so expensive for us to do...

Manager is a rude disrespectful jerk. My famiky of 12 had rented 2 lanes. This man walked over to repriman us on anything that we did wrong while people one lane over were doing the same thing. My husband threw his ball hard and it hit the bumpers that we had up for the 4,6, and 7 year old. This man walked over and yelled not asked or even politely told us not to bounce our balls off the bumpers " or he would put them down for everyone!" I went to pay and told him that they way he talked to my husband was disrespectful and that he didn't need to talk to a grown man that way. I said you could have just told him instead of yelling were everyone could hear him. He even walked to our lanes so he wasn't even far enough away that he needed to yell. I will never be back here again. My family enjoys bowling and we alwaus have lots of people with us. Like I said we were a party of...
