Piesanos Stone Fired Pizza - Lake City — Restaurant in Lake City

We were visiting Lake City to look at a wedding venue and stumbled upon some of the best pasta that I have had in a while.

It's located in a shopping mall but you don't have to walk into the mall to enter. There is plenty of parking as well. The inside has plenty of seating and an outside covered patio. A large group can easily be accommodated.

We went in the late afternoon and didn't have to wait to be seated. They have a large bar area with a diverse cocktail meine. There are also tvs to watch sports. It's a perfect mix to accommodate anyone.

We didn't know that they gave complementary bread when we ordered apps. The bread is soft, served warm, and has like an Italian dressing sauce drizzled over it. It was really good. We also tried the peperoni bites, mozzarella sticks, and garlic potato soup as appetizers. Everything slapped!

The garlic potato soup was hearty, seasoned, and fresh. It was my favorite. The marinara sauce went perfectly with our apps as well. We ordered the shrimp scampi ravioli, chicken scampi ravioli, the blackened chicken pasta, and a large pizza. All of the pasta was cooked perfectly and fresh. It had a good amount of fresh garlic, spinach, and tomatoes. I ordered a meal to go so that my son could try it. It was JUST. THAT. GOOD.

The manager Mike took service to a new level. I could tell that he is a great leader. He was hands-on throughout the restaurant, helping with orders and tables. He frequently checked on our table as well. He demonstrated excellent service with his professional demeanor and attentiveness.

Overall, the price point was reasonable, the food was delicious, and the service was great!

We ended up booking the venue that brought us to the area. We will definitely be back. We noticed that they cater and have great meal bundles for a reasonable price. We are considering having the rehearsal...

My friend and I went in for lunch on eight 7/7/24. As usual, the place looks so clean and all of the employees are so friendly! It smells absolutely heavenly in here too. All of the wait staff are professional and friendly. I wish I could remember our waiters name but all I can tell you is that he was a tall, black man and he was very friendly and courteous. Just as we were about to leave a young man whom I’ve seen in here before asked us how everything was and said thank you for coming in. I found out after talking to Alexus at the bar that this is the manager for this restaurant. By the way, Alexis was busy cleaning the bar when we walked in. As we walked by, I asked her how I can leave a review because this restaurant is what I would consider five star. Five star from cleanliness, food and the employees. Whoever is in charge here is doing a beyond wonderful job. She said the GM here is a young man named Kyle. I was floored that he is the GM because he looks so young! Well, whether young or not this gentleman certainly has leadership qualities and is able to get good help and keep them. This alone is a major feat considering the labor pool here in Lake city. I feel compelled to write this review and let you know what a wonderful restaurant this is. Hold onto your general manager and the employees there because they are all gems and the cooks are wonderful too as we know consistency is so important in the food industry. I have never had a bad meal here. we had the lunch special and chose a salad with a slice of cheese pizza. I do believe this is the best pizza I have ever tasted! Everything is A+. ...

My wife and I had dinner at Piesanos in Lake City this evening. There wasn't a hostess when we arrived and we waited for much longer than we should have to be seated. They were not busy. Our server was Dana. She was very nice and personable. She took our drink order and gave us time to look at the menu. She came back with our drinks and we placed our order. After placing our order we relaxed with our drinks and waited... and waited.... and waited.... My wife finished her glass of wine. Dana came back to check on us and my wife ordered another glass of wine. When Dana returned with her glass of wine, I asked if she would check to see if our order was ready. She came back a few minutes later, apoligized and explained that our order had been "lost"! My initial reaction was "we're out of here". I asked to speak to the manager and within minutes the on duty manager (Kyle) came to the table. He had already beem briefed by Dana and assured us that he understood our displeasure and would have our order moved to the front of the line. He did this and personally delivered our food within about 10-15 minutes. The meal was very good (my wife mentioned that her pasta wasn't quite done but was good). Kyle also took about 50% off of each dish. I did mentioned to him that, although Dana was very nice and did her best to take care of us; she should have been on top of this. She should have realized that the order was taking way too long and she should have checked on it much earlier. All in all, the dinner was good and Kyle acted very quickly to make...
