Crossings Christian Gifts and Books — Attraction in Lake Jackson

Went in the store to purchase a gift for my sister‘s birthday and they had a great selection of books and gifts from jewelry , coffee mugs, photos and paintings etc.. Quality of the products in the store were of very good quality and I got to talking to one of the ladies that worked in store Katherine and her daughter Anne and they were good people who belong to the Catholic Church here locally in Lake Jackson Texas and invited me to come and join them on Sundays with their family. I purchased a nice journal, with nice quality for my sister, who had said recently that she needed a nice journal to start writing in and I was very pleased with the gift and my sister loved it. I also asked them about possibly working part-time a day or two a week to make some extra money to go with my Social Security income for groceries and gas and they said it might be a month or two, but they will call me when they can use me because the daughter was pregnant and expecting her first child in a couple of months and would need time off after she has the baby and maybe I could fill in for her so I went in couple weeks later and met the owner of the shop. Claire and she was a very nice lady and her and her husband have owned the shop for 14 years and had worked full-time at Dow industries for 20 years and was now working full-time as a chemistry professor at the local junior college and also teaching chemistry at the local high school here full-time so hopefully in a couple of months, they will call me when they need me I live across the street from the shop so it will be convenient for me to get there when they call to tell me they need me. So anyway, I was pleased with the gift and the people that work there and the opportunity to work part time and help them when they need me. It was a good day when I walked into the shop for them as well...

It was my first time visiting, and I absolutely love this store. The lady at the counter was extremely helpful, and went over and beyond. I was looking for tabs for my daughter's Bible and asked if she could just point me in the right direction, but she insisted on personally showing me where they were, and pointed out other products as well. Very good sales person AND customer service agent. I will be going back tomorrow to get my name imprinted on my Bible, as they do...

Not enough bibles and books ....great people though , they are kind ...I found a great womans study bible for my mom there and she loves it....trying to find a great mens study bible but they have a poor selection...to much catholic stuff ...I broke away from Catholicism a long time ago and god wants a heart to serve him and a relationship...
