Children's Park — Attraction in Lake Orion

What a wonderful Park for not only the children, but for anyone that wants to just relax and enjoy the outdoors.

There are benches to sit on and have a coffee from WEE BEAN or have some delicious 😋 ice cream from Cookies & Cream. There is also a "Free Little Library" for you, if you want to relax and read.

There are two small statues, one in a lovely garden in memory of Benita L. Cole. And a small one for Stan Sweet who donated the beautiful gazebo.

Then you have Lake Orion Live Concerts in the Park in the Gazebo, unfortunately Concerts in the Park this year are over.

My wife has attended many of the Lake Orion concerts at the Gazebo in Children's Park. The last concert of the season was Annagail performing and I decided to attend with my wife.

However, the weather was not cooperating, and the venue got moved inside to 20 Front Street.

My children truly enjoyed visiting this place, conveniently located in downtown Lake Orion, surrounded by other businesses, including a delightful ice cream shop. A small creek running through the area offers an engaging experience for children to explore. The location also features a charming gazebo and a book stand, providing a delightful atmosphere for adults while their children play. One area for potential improvement is the restroom facility, which could be upgraded from a Porta potty to provide a cleaner and more pleasant experience...

Nice park with a fantastic new (May 2022) community-built playground for the kids, a gazebo and a bridge over Paint Creek. It's also a great starting point for biking or walking the Paint Creek Trail. On summer nights there is regularly live music performed in the gazebo. All of the shops and restaurants in downtown Lake Orion are an easy walk from the park. Some benches also have shade awnings for watching the little ones play in comfort. A great playground in...
