I called after receiving information about various options and the front desk worker let me know I have to come in to take care of it. I also let her know I’d be in Friday, as I had previously disclosed in a prior email.
I arrived today at 3:30, after school. My children and I commuted from Indiana (52 minutes).There were signs on the door that the building was closed for a private event but that we could ring the bell in the back of the building.
I was allowed in the space by the company renting the space and she went to get an employee. The employee notified me that she was unable to handle it but that Matt could. She informed me that he would return in 30 minutes. My girls and I waited in the parking lot and re entered after 32 minutes.

The folks who teach classes here have a real passion for helping everyday ppl grow their skill and love for art. I've done community theatre here, dance classes, Chicago Children's Choir, and known people who have learned everything from instruments to clay-sculpting here. Support spaces like this, as a professional artist and storyteller now I can say that the Beverly Arts Center was a massive aid in my journey and that community arts centers should exist in every neighborhood.
