Night market needs to be at … night best. 😂 But the organizers are quite thoughtful with the wash stations and little chairs on the sidewalk if you are lucky to grab one. The vibe and energy with the music and DJ is 5/5.

Overall the food options had a good variety. Quality of food for couple of the stalls was 4/5 the rest is pretty meh 🫤 2/5
And the atrocity of the donut stall … 😢
The drinks definitely a hit during 90 degree weather but again, no credit to the creativity just need the ice 😆
Unfortunately we have even less reason to visit argyle which used to be foodie...

Very diverse attendees, not too crowded, everybody in a good mood. Face-painting, bubble-blowing, and crafts for kids. Meat on a stick, food truck, and other street food. Shirts and candles and organic coffee. Chicago Public Library, Uptown Church, schools, and Asian-American civic organizations have booths. Clean and family-friendly. Accessible by car or “L”: Argyle St. Red Line seems to be under construction but still open. Moderate police presence. This Chicago version of an Asian night market is a great addition...
Read morethis night market was very fun to check out! i do wish it was bigger (it only spanned about one block) and had more food vendors. there were really only four or so vendors which surprised me since food is known to be a big part of night markets, but it was nice to look at all the other booths anyway.
there was also live music which was pretty nice while we looked around. i tried boba and onigiri from two different stalls, and they were both good. but just so you know, there is an upcharge for the goods as my boba was $9 and onigiri...
