Lake Wales Mardi Gras is a special and unique tradition in our town. This event has been a thing for 40 years. The main festival happens at Lake Wailes Park but the parade goes through our historic downtown area. I got to ride a float this year for the first time which was great fun. Best part of the event are the costumes. Lots of folks have great fun with this. The festival includes great music and food selections.

This will be our 2nd Lake Wales Mardi Gras Festival. We liked the first Festival so much, we've built a FROZEN CUSTARD FOOD TRUCK For our 2016 Lake Wales Mardi Gras. Plus Kim's Kistard is bringing a RAINBOW...
