A Gem on the Atlantic: Lake Worth Fishing Pier
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
What a delightful discovery! Our visit to the Lake Worth Fishing Pier in Palm Beach, Florida, was an absolute treat. From the moment we set foot on the pier, we were captivated by the stunning surroundings. The crystal-clear waters of the Atlantic Ocean, shimmering in emerald blue-green hues, set the perfect backdrop for a memorable day of fishing.
One of the highlights of our experience was the accessibility and affordability of this iconic fishing spot. For just $1, we gained access to endless opportunities to cast our lines and reel in some impressive catches. The fact that admission is valid from sun up to sundown is a fantastic bonus, allowing visitors to make the most of their time here.
Throughout our stay, we were mesmerized by the skill and luck of fellow anglers. It was thrilling to witness firsthand as they effortlessly pulled in fish after fish. One particular moment that stands out is seeing a fellow fisherman reel in not just one, but three blue runners in a row! It's moments like these that make fishing at Lake Worth Pier an unforgettable experience.
Aside from the fantastic fishing opportunities, the pier itself is well-maintained and offers ample space for anglers of all skill levels. Whether you're a seasoned pro or a novice eager to learn, you'll find everything you need for a successful fishing expedition.

Read moreThe pier itself is pretty nice, and it wasn’t too crowded the day we went. Fishing was decent and we had a good time. The reason I can’t give it more than three stars is that the bait shop is terrible. They have almost no tackle and very little bait. When we arrived, the lady in the store said that they should be arriving around noon. We went ahead and bought squid, which I hate, and we made it work. But when we went back to the shop around 1 PM, they still didn’t have any shrimp. Walmart is 10 minutes away and was fully stocked with frozen shrimp. If your bait delivery vendor is this unpredictable, you should at least make a Walmart run to buy some bait to sell to your patrons. It’s unacceptable to go to a pier, pay like 12 bucks to park, lug all your gear up there, and then find out they have no bait. We were told that one of the workers that normally is in the bait shop was out on the pier fishing. If he has time to fish, he has time to go find bait to sell. A pier this size in this location should be better managed...
Read moreThis is a great place to come if you want to get out on the water. It cost us only a few bucks and I was surprised that it was not at least 5 dollars. So it’s nice they are charging an accessible rate.
People use the pier to fish, but also there are groups of people to come look out into the water. We spent about 45 minutes here watching schools of fish, barracuda, and sharks in the water.
Overall it was relaxing to get the fresh air and to enjoy all that nature has to offer....
