Lake County Fairgrounds — Attraction in Lakeport

It is a smaller fairground & nit comparable to an expo center , but thr grounds are very nice & the events are staged in areas that are organized & easy to find. The fair is held , in the brutal heat of summer unfortunately, when temps can soar as high as 112°F or even higher. The fairgrounds have been poorly managed and maintained for years. The Lake County fair would be non existent without the amazing volunteers in Lake County. Unfortunately, those volunteers are treated very poorly and each year seems to get worse. The 4 H family program will continue to thrive with or without the fairgrounds.
