Place is fine unless ur paying to dock your boat, pay over 2k a year to get harassed, no security, head of the marine mike should be fired asap running the place into the ground, they host bridel shower and baby showers on the weekends busiest days for boating, good luck carring ur cooler a mile completely full, they are supposed to have carts to use but I've never seen one. Staff is lazy and rude. Freedom boat kids are very helpful and respectful. Metropark staff is incompetent to say the least. Worst marine in ohio but location is the only reason they have any business. Been waiting over a month to have them move the cleets to usable area. Takes maybe 5 minutes to move a cleet, as the staff just sits there praying someone will want gas. Bathrooms are open to the public so most of the time they are gross! They had poop water going from the bathroom to the ice cream shop extremely gross! food is crazy expensive 3 chicken tenders for 10bucks with no side(not that I would eat there with there sanitation issues). This is one of most easily accessed parts of rocky river reservation for people in Lakewood, rocky river, Bay village, and some parts of Cleveland proper. It would make sense that people may want to come here to take a walk or run on the multi use path, have a picnic, go fishing, or rent a kayak. However, the metroparks only seem to accommodate people with huge trucks pulling boats here. There is an absolutely massive parking lot that I have NEVER seen even close to being full. Yet there is not a single bike rack. I have spoken to many people that would like to ride their bike here for a picnic or walk especially, but they do not because there isn't a good, secure place to lock up.
