The emerald necklace Marina in Rocky River, Ohio is a hidden gem that offers something for everyone. As soon as you arrive, you are greeted by the beautiful scenery and well-maintained grounds. The marina itself has plenty of places to fish, making it a great spot for anglers of all skill levels.
The walking trail is clean and accessible, perfect for a leisurely stroll or a brisk walk. The restrooms are well-maintained and clean, which is always a plus when spending time outdoors. The café and Marina shop are immaculate and offer a variety of items for the public to enjoy. I was impressed with the selection and the quality of the items available.
One of the highlights of my visit was discovering that the Marina offers a room to rent for special occasions. This would be a perfect spot for a birthday party or other celebration. The grounds also include a pavilion for birthdays, providing a picturesque setting for a memorable event.
Overall, my experience at the emerald necklace Marina was fantastic. It was fun for all ages and offered something for everyone. Whether you're looking to fish, walk, or simply relax by the water, this Marina has it all. I would highly recommend a visit to anyone looking for a peaceful and enjoyable outdoor experience. 41° company had rentals available for those interested in exploring the water by...
Read morePlace is fine unless ur paying to dock your boat, pay over 2k a year to get harassed, no security, head of the marine mike should be fired asap running the place into the ground, they host bridel shower and baby showers on the weekends busiest days for boating, good luck carring ur cooler a mile completely full, they are supposed to have carts to use but I've never seen one. Staff is lazy and rude. Freedom boat kids are very helpful and respectful. Metropark staff is incompetent to say the least. Worst marine in ohio but location is the only reason they have any business. Been waiting over a month to have them move the cleets to usable area. Takes maybe 5 minutes to move a cleet, as the staff just sits there praying someone will want gas. Bathrooms are open to the public so most of the time they are gross! They had poop water going from the bathroom to the ice cream shop extremely gross! food is crazy expensive 3 chicken tenders for 10bucks with no side(not that I would eat there with there sanitation issues). Kayakers create unsafe waters and nothing is ever done! Strongly suggest any...
Read moreThis is one of most easily accessed parts of rocky river reservation for people in Lakewood, rocky river, Bay village, and some parts of Cleveland proper. It would make sense that people may want to come here to take a walk or run on the multi use path, have a picnic, go fishing, or rent a kayak. However, the metroparks only seem to accommodate people with huge trucks pulling boats here. There is an absolutely massive parking lot that I have NEVER seen even close to being full. Yet there is not a single bike rack. I have spoken to many people that would like to ride their bike here for a picnic or walk especially, but they do not because there isn't a good, secure place to lock up. It's cheap and easy to put in a bike rack, metroparks should just do it. Brian Zimmerman makes $300k a year. A bike rack costs like $300 with installation. I had to get creative and lock up to a sign because I had an...
