El Fogon Lagunero — Restaurant in Lakewood

It's a food truck. I knew that driving there by the photos... and they had some seating... although half of the seats were taken up by family members. They were all sitting together eating and when I ordered the two employees got up from the tables.

The food was decent. We ordered steak tacos, a quesadilla, and the cheese fries. The fries unfortunately were soggy. Not worth buying but everything else was good. Will definitely go here again. My only complaint, it did take a little over 10 minutes to...

Unassuming taco truck that makes INCREDIBLE tacos. We stopped by for a snack and got the pastor, cachete and carnitas tacos. Salsas were great too.

I'd be shocked if there were better tacos in Denver, as these ones were on par with the better places in Mexico. The owners were super friendly as well! A must-visit if you're looking for legit tacos. Will be back to try the other tacos we didn't...

If you’re a Lakewood local you know our taco game is weak, SO IM SO HAPPY I FOUND THIS PLACE. These are hands down the best tacos in Lakewood.
