Head monk is very disrespectful and his tone for talking to grieving people feels very fake and insincere. For my grandma-in-laws funeral, he was late on both days without communication or apology. After coming over 30 minutes late the second day, he rushed the ceremony and rushed the family through their last words before the cremation ceremony. He essentially left immediately after the cremation, after asking the family for the flowers and having us pack them into his van. He didn't even say goodbye or express any condolences to the family after leaving.

We went to Temple every Sunday after she passed and he then texted an aunt letting her know that after the 49 days, the temple will no longer hold grandma's ashes and that we'll have to find another temple to hold her ashes because our family "didnt have the right intentions of coming to temple". Completely unprofessional and disrespectful temple/Head Monk.

He showed up LATE to the our grandmothers funeral ceremonies without explanation on both days, when we relied on him to lead them. The second day, he showed up 40 MINUTES LATE, rushed her ceremony and left as soon as he was done, without talking to the family at all.

We went to temple every week, but he called and said that our grandmother's ashes will no longer be welcomed there because we didn't have the right intentions and that we didn't show excitement to learn the scriptures the 2 weeks we went, when we were still mourning!

This monk was incredibly unprofessional and disrespectful to a family in mourning. I would high discourage anyone to come to this temple, as you will be find more respect from...

I had an incredibly disappointing experience at this temple, and I strongly advise others to look elsewhere. The lead monk was shockingly rude - not just to my family but to others as well. There was zero communication about how our funeral would proceed, leaving us completely in the dark. To make matters worse, he was LATE to the service, forcing my grieving family to wait in frustration. Not a single “sorry” was said.

This level of unprofessionalism and disrespect is unacceptable, especially for an event as significant as a funeral. The complete lack of organization only added to the stress of an already difficult day. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone.
