I took my truck into the shop. I have a truck with apu and dont idle. They said they would check it out to see why it derated. Next day was told I need a E108 campaign which is basically a cleaning of the egr system and aftertreatment from how I understood them .after 2 days more they said it was ready for me to pick it up. I was charged $4000 and was basically all labor . I paid , before I left I talked with the tech who was supposed to be the one who did thr worl. He said my egr and system didnt look as dirty they thought .. he said they baked my dpf and and about 1lb soot and ash cleaned out of it . I took truck home and 2 days later I was going to leave for work and started truck to warm it up and get ready to leave, then it gave warning I needed to do perform a parked regen, so I did. That's when smoke started coming thru dashboard , fromunder hood and from under all sides of truck.. was so bad my wife jumped out choking , I was choking and couldnt breath and people thought my truck was on fire. And. ask if we need fire dept and if im ok. I took some video of the smoke and truck and later posted it online on Facebook to ask some techs in a paccar group if this was normal or if I should take it back to shop. My response was overwhelming saying take it back to shop and I had a problem. I never experience this before and was still choking and vomit from the smoke I inhaled. So once I calmed down I took it to shop . When I got there and explained what all happened and that paccar techs fb group said. the service dept at this kenworth told me I had to delete everything I posted about this online . So I removed my post and video on social media so they would look at the problem and resolve the issue . Me and my wife sit in the lounge and waited , I was still sick and vomit again while waiting . They eventually said truck was ready and that it was just a clamp and gasket needing replacement. When I ask why it wasnt done right when they put it back on they had no answer and said they didnt know.. they were mostly concerned about my video posted online of this happening and telling me to delete it. So I did to not have anymore problems. They let me leave and on my way home I got a email for a repair bill, I was suprised , so now I'm curious if they going to charge my credit card again for a mistake that was there fault. I recorded my conversation with service dept with my cellphone of the shop asking me to delete the videos and saying I was wrong to post videos with there shop name . Why charge a customer $4000 and forget to do work or replace parts then blame customers? . This could've been bad situation if me and my wife were asleep in the truck when this problem happened, my truck smells so bad inside from the smoke of the aftertreatment coming inside . it was so bad we had to get out of truck and sick with sore throat , nose , eyes , coughing and vomiting. Read moreIn reference to Mr. Reza’s post. Was having clutch brake issues. Didn’t have time or care to swap it out at the time so took it to Kenworth Lakewood. I’ll give them this. They had the truck done fast. However, dropped it off. Get called “hey your clutch just needed an adjustment. The clutch brake is good” “okay cool. Thanks for not replacing something that doesn’t needed to be done. What’s the bill?” “400$” I’ve done over 100 clutch adjustments and if it took me 2 hours I would have been fired. Normally they take 15 minutes and half an hour at most. An hour if you got to do linkage adjustments. But 2 hours for a clutch adjustment? Fine. Truck drives fine I’ll get over it. A week and a half later, same issue. And this was the clutch brake (pics below)

Read moreI brought my truck in for no lights on Saturday. Talked with Ryan. He looked at the truck saw no lights. And said wouldnt be looked at til Monday I said ok and left the truck. He said call Jason on Monday with I did said wouldnt be looked at til mid morning. Called again at noon and truck was done. Got the keys went to truck and still no lights. He wouldnt even give me the time of day. As for the foreman. He said couldnt duplicate problem still no lights. I said IL take to inland k.w.. And he said fine that upset me so I walked back in and asked for the service mgr. Rob He seemed concerned about my situation we walked out to the truck and showed him what I was talking about he had the truck pulled back in. And dont know what was done but as of 530 pm i have dash lights. If I was to go back there again I would only deal with the service mgr again he seemed concerned...
