The Swap Meet — Attraction in Lansing

I visited this amazing store last week with my wife and 8yr old son. I had hopes that I could obtain a few nostalgic pieces of my childhood and share them with my son. I was NOT disappointed! This place has an amazing amount of "old school" gaming equipment. It was more like walking through a museum and the owner of the shop was more than happy to share his knowledge and chit-chat about games, systems, must haves. Very nice gentleman. We ended up buying a NES system and a few games for a very reasonable price. We got home and unfortunately had a problem with a controller. We're talking 25yr old equipment so I would expect this type of issue. I took the controller back to him and he tore in to the controller right away. Took it all apart, cleaned everything and now it works perfectly. A few days later we brought in a ton of my sons old games and systems. He gave us a very fair amount of in store credit and now my son is piling up the old school games and systems. So much fun! If you get a few minutes, stop in, say hello, buy some games. Best game store around!!! They have a crazy Amount of Classics and Current Era Games on top of just Plain good people. I just got back into collecting Sega Genesis games and owned a Crispy new Punisher game not in box and was looking for Punisher in box,hoping to trade my copy and some cash for their Punisher in box. I leave happy but forget to look in the box to see what condition the game was in.I did a face palm when I realized the Game that was in the case was in worse shape than the out of box Punisher I traded. So the only logical thing to do in my mind was turn around and see if I could buy back the crispy clean copy of Punisher I just sold him. To my surprise without hesitation he trades me back the copy I just sold him even up so I can have as prestine copy of Punisher as possible. I appreciate that kind of business, especially when it was my fault for not opening the box to see the games condition. He could of simply sold it back to me like every game store would of in this kind of situation,It was a great experience and recommend...

A place full of video games run by people who love video games for people who love video games. A couple notes, even though that's certainly enough information for me! -Staff friendly and ready to help -An extensive collection. Not the biggest out there, but not small at all either. They've got lots of collectors editions, reasonably priced games, affordable games. Knowing that everything here is pre-owned, the selection was a 9/10 for me -Only reason the selection was a 9/10 was that the newer product selection is minimal (but still high quality). Again, not a knock at all, I just love my PS5 therefore I love PS5 games and Blu Ray movies. Small section, no big. You're here for retro and amazing deals on awesome opportunities!
