Fairly good for the amount you pay for. It's your basic run of the mill Chinese food place. The food is cooked to order -never had anything undercooked Which is good- and there isn't much of a wait time even if there's a line (usually 10-15minutes, 15-25 if the place gets packed I noticed). Though heads up, if you order on the phone, it would save the world some trouble if you knew what you wanted to order. The cashier is nice, but not the best of english to understand on the phone (no offense), so trying to get a bunch of questions on the phone answered won't go as smooth. I never had this problem since I knew what I wanted and just ordered. But sometimes when I wait for my order I notice some people hang up on the phone when she tries to answer their questions, most likely were too confused to continue. Also there's only like one person in front and 1 or 2 in back so some patience is needed. She does a lot up front while taking calls and expediting so you really shouldn't mind if there's a wait to...
Read moreMy first bite was the worst. I ordered Szechuan Chicken (the combo) with fried rice and added an egg roll. Not sure how my first bite happened to be the most rubber-like piece of meat I have ever consumed, but I kept going and it got better. There were no other fried rubber chunks in the dish. It was not exceptional. I asked for spicy and it was that. Another note of interest, the fried rice has ham in it. Different. I believe Chen's also has ham in their fried rice as well. The egg roll was also mediocre. The prices are reasonable. If one finds this some of the tastiest Chinese food, bonus because it is cheaper than many other places. I tried it because it is a fairly new place and it had a 4.5 star rating when I went. I suspect as more people visit that rating will stabilize at something lower than 4.5. I visited at around 2:30 PM on a Saturday - there was only a woman and her young daughter there if that indicates anything. If I am craving Chinese again, this would not be the first place I...
Read moreNothing against a place that is trying to make it work in a horrible location, but these reviews and the 4.3 rating seem very very suspect. This was not a good experience across the board. Sauces tasted store bought, the chicken seemed as if it wasn’t seasoned before the unseasoned batter was applied and it was then fried to a flavorless grave. It felt as if no care was taken with these dishes. For some god awful reason the egg rolls had a strong cinnamon taste to them, making them completely outside of the experience you want when biting into an egg roll. Also making it the first bad egg roll of my life, something I didn’t know could even happen. Maybe they will figure it out, maybe it was an off day. But these previous reviews do not match our experience at all. Every dish left us disappointed, 2 stars almost feels too lenient. Unfortunately we will not be ordering again and I couldn’t wholeheartedly recommend this...
