The Hills Park — Attraction in Las Vegas

I have been to this park dozens of times. This park has plenty of trees that provide shade. There are grills and tables. There's a large pavilion. Lots of grass. Tennis courts, a basketball court, a volleyball court. An ampetheater with seating on a hill. The playground is small but it's neat how it's set into a hill. There are swings near the playground. The park is well maintained. I've seen at least one security guard on duty every time I've visited. The hills provide a small grassy revine the kids enjoy playing in. The park is neighbor to 3 or 4 different schools so it gets very busy during the school year at about 3pm (whenever school gets out) each day. The park is true to its name; because of "the hills," it can be exhausting to keep an eye on your children. Always clean and nicely shaded. The picnic tables can get crowded, so sending someone early to stake one out is a good idea on nice days, especially holidays. There are barbecues available. Beautiful park, it has a swing set area & a main play area with a couple slides. The play area isn't huge but my kids enjoyed it. There are plenty of benches to sit on to watch the kids.
