This was the absolute best tour! DJ, our tour guide, was fun, knowledgeable, and the perfect guide for us! For fans of Hometown, the tour took you past some of the houses that Ben. Erin and the team renovated. DJ gave excellent references to the episodes. We got a chance to stop at some of the gift shops. We took pics along the way. We even got to see Mayor Magee walking on the street. After the tour, we circled back to some of the stores. The tour gave us an idea of where everything was located, which made getting around downtown easier. Our whole group was pleasant, and we all enjoyed the tour. Thank you, DJ! Your 3 Atlanta ladies! Make sure you see the Laurel Visitor's Center. Ms. Patricia is a sweetheart!

This was so exciting. We arrived later in the afternoon and DJ was done for the day. When we told him we were only there for a couple hours just passing through he asked for our number. about 30 mins later he called us and said his other vehicle was charged and he would be happy to do an additional tour so we could see everything. He was so kind and knowledgeable and really made us feel special. He is an amazing tour guide, knows all the neighbors, the owners waive and say hello when he passes by you can tell he is well loved by the town as well as by his customers. You must tour with him. If you come to Laurel and do not take his tour you are missing out! Thank you DJ you were so awesome!

FUN FILLED TOUR OF THE CITY BEAUTIFUL The charming DJ Bolton has you right where he wants you: in the back of his stretch golf cart careening around the streets of Laurel, showing you some of the 100+ “Home Town” renovations, getting friendly with the locals (including Zeus the Great Dane) and showing off his home town. I had a ball and highly recommend you come on this tour when you first arrive in Laurel to get the lay of the land and great recommendations. They also have an ‘Evening Sip & Ride’ tour every Thursday, which is a safe way to tour the town’s drinking establishments where your only concern is not falling off the golf cart.

I had the pleasure of attending the Bolton Home Tour, and it was an absolutely fantastic experience! The homes on display were beautiful, showcasing a wonderful mix of architectural styles and creative interior designs. Each stop on the tour offered something unique, and I was truly inspired by the attention to detail and craftsmanship in every house. Dwight was incredibly knowledgeable, offering insightful information about the history of the homes and the neighborhoods. He was entertaining and fun as well!

What I loved most was how well-organized the event was. The schedule was clear, and the routes were easy to follow, making it a stress-free way to explore the area. Plus, it was a great opportunity to support local businesses and get to know the community better.

Our Home Town tour with DJ was the best experience and I highly recommend booking a tour with them should you find yourself in Laurel, Mississippi. DJ was an awesome tour guide and he was thoughtful and courteous and very knowledgeable of the area, the homes that Erin and Ben renovated and the history of Laurel. Plus he was funny and entertaining which is definitely a plus and made our experience even more fun. We ran into him the day after our tour and I stopped him to ask a couple questions….he was getting ready to take a couple on the tour but was kind enough to give me a few minutes of his time to assist us. Great tour, great experience and great guide. A definite “must do” if you find yourself in...
