Just got a cut with Alonzo. I showed my man a video of exactly what I wanted and described it for him- a medium drop fade (nothing too crazy). I don’t know if it was because it was towards the end of the day or something was going on but he abandons everything I told him and proceeds to do the highest fade I’ve ever received in my 8 years of getting fades (with no drop at all). I have no idea where the miscommunication was because he repeated what I asked for and seemed comfortable enough to do it. He’s a chill guy and I can see that he’s got potential but it’s the details like this that really need improvement.

I honestly don’t know where to start. My husband and son went to get a cut for the first time since moving here and when they came home, I was very upset with my son’s hair cut. He left our home needing his sides cleaned up and a little taken off the top as he has curls on the top of his head and we wanted those curls to stay on the top of his head.

When he came home, the whole side and back of his head was buzzed (no fade from his curls to meet up with the side of his hair) and there was was way more than what we wanted taken off the top. I’ve only ever put curling product in his hair and it was gelled flat to the side!

Our son's appt was set for 10am. We arrived five minutes early. We were told Juan Ortiz (who we scheduled with) would be there soon. We sat and waited. A guy walked in about five minutes after us, sat in the back, and ate while looking at the computer. Was that Juan Ortiz? No clue, no one said anything. We waited... and finally left 15 minutes after our appt time. No one said anything. We don't put up with crap like that. So disrespectful! Minutes after we left, that same guy walked out. Then we received a cancelation text. This was our first time going here and last. I don't recommend this place at all! Very disrespectful and unprofessional. Disgusting.
