This surprisingly happened to be my first visit to this restaurant. Despite its existence for several years, I had never had the opportunity to dine there until recently. I must say, I am thrilled that I finally had the chance to try it out.
During our lunch visit, we ordered the bibimbop and beef bulgogi plate. As soon as we were seated, the attentive staff promptly served us with a trio of kimchi varieties – cabbage, cucumber, and a flavorful raddish kimchi. Among them, the cucumber kimchi stood out as my personal favorite. Its refreshing taste combined with a subtle hint of spice added a pleasing twist to the overall dining experience.
The bibimbop, served in a piping hot bowl, truly made a sizzling impression. The combination of flavors and textures in the bibimbop was impressive, and the assortment of ingredients worked harmoniously to create a truly remarkable culinary experience.
Additionally, the beef bulgogi plate left a lasting impression with its well-seasoned meat, cooked to perfection and complemented by a side of fluffy white rice. The quality of the dish exceeded my expectations, and I was genuinely satisfied with the flavors and presentation.
Apart from the culinary delights, the service provided by the staff at Seoul Korean Restaurant was exceptional. Despite being busy for the lunch hour, they attended to us promptly and professionally, ensuring that our dining experience was pleasant from start to finish. Moreover, the establishment maintained a clean and inviting environment, which further enhanced our overall dining experience.
Based on our memorable lunch experience, we will be returning and exploring other tantalizing dishes offered on the menu. The diverse range of options available at Seoul has piqued our curiosity, and we eagerly await our next visit to indulge in more of the culture...
Read moreWe stopped by to eat dinner (in restaurant) on 7/7/25 at about 7:30 PM (the sign says they are open until 9). We were seated and given menus. We were the only people in the restaurant at that time. The waitress gave a about 5 min. to look at the menu, then came over to take our orders. When my daughter ordered what she wanted, she was told that they were out of beef, so she looked at the menu and ordered their Orange Chicken. The waitress wrote it down. I looked at the menu and told the waitress that I would like the Teriyaki Chicken meal. She told me that they were out of chicken. Most of their menu is either beef or chicken. How can you be out of both? If you are indeed out of both beef and chicken, then why wouldn't you put a notice on the door and let the customer know that you are currently out of beef and chicken? Why wouldn't you at least tell the customer before seating them that you are out of beef and chicken? If you are low on staff and just don't want to seat people and have to serve them, then why don't you put it on your website and a note on the door that "Due to low staffing, we are currently only doing online orders?" As we were leaving another customer walked in and picked up a takeout meal. They had to have had some food there. I don't think the other customer left with an empty food container in a grocery sack. We have had their food, and it was good. This is why we chose their place for dinner that night. However, after being treated like we were, this place is no longer on our option list. We will not be going back there, nor will we be ordering online and picking up. Good luck in keeping your...
Read moreThis place looks super sketchy from the outside—you would never guess how amazingly delicious the food here is! The second I walked in and smelled the sesame oil and garlic, I was in heaven and felt like I was back in Korea.
We got bibimbap, kimbap, japchae, and ddeokbokki the first time we went. Huge portions, and even though I’m pregnant and can’t stand onions right now, their japchae was still to die for. It’s sweet and slightly spicy which was a bit different but very yummy. The bibimbap was incredible. She is EXTREMELY generous with all the toppings, which on one hand makes it very difficult to mix but on the other makes it sooo delicious (I recommend being generous with the gochujang sauce). The kimbap has a lot of rice in it, which I’m not a huge fan of when it comes to kimbap, but it was excellent for dipping in the ddeokbokki. I was enjoying the bibimbap and japchae so much that I was unable to make myself try the ddeokbokki myself, but my husband LOVED it and ordered it again both times we went back.
On our second and third time, we switched out the japchae for the spicy pork, and OH MY GOSH. It is divine! You won’t regret ordering the dinner portion.
They serve pickled raddish, cucumber kimchi, and cabbage kimchi. Their classic kimchee is a bit too salty and bitter for me; after my mission is South Korea, I came to prefer fresher and sweeter kimchi. Everyone has their preferences, though. The radish and cucumber are excellent and super tasty!
This place is a twenty minute drive for us in Bountiful, and my husband and I made sure to make that drive three times in...
