I have had this place a few times. A sushi burrito, some bento boxes, and some sashimi. I enjoyed the Sashimi the most. Three orders of yellow tail and it tasted great, needed nothing else. The thing about it is, they prepare exactly what you order. I know that sounds kind of like what everywhere does. It’s just that some of their options almost seem like they shouldn’t be options to me. Since they are such basic items. So if you order something basic, then don’t expect to be surprised at all. It will come exactly as you ordered.
The atmosphere seems to be mostly loyal customers, you don’t really hear about it except from people who enjoy this style of food, and in the town everyone probably already knows who likes it in their lives and doesn’t .
It is definitely a family owned establishment which I think gives it a genuine nature. I can see how it could be off putting, but you can tell they are genuine people so I think it makes up for it and things are in acceptable conditions probably more so than a lot of people I know if they just opened their doors to the public. Read moreLove that they have a diabetes (& keto) friendly RICELESS option with the #4 Geisha Riceless Roll. It was perfect! Customer service not a 5 star because he didn’t respond to questions about the menu. That’s also why we only got a burrito apiece and no starters or other goodies. The menu looked good, and I have my eye on a few things to order next time. Definitely putting this into the regular rotation, although I have a feeling this isn’t the establishment for customized orders. We’ll see.
Dining area was clean, nice ambiance and suitable music at a comfortable volume. I’d say it was sensory friendly and definitely handicapped accessible. There was a playpen, baby included. Happy to support family owned and working mothers. Excellent overall....
Read moreThis place is never open when they say they're open! Waited there 30 minutes from the time they say they are open on their sign and nothing. They have 2 signs that say business hours open at 10 and restaurant hours at 11 and even online it says 10. Went at both times and they were still closed. This is the second time this has happened. On top of that, their burritos aren't even the size of a burrito. It's just a regular roll that hasn't been cut. If your going to have a business be there when you say you're going to be there, not just when you feel like it. Never wasting my...
