We ordered food here a few weeks prior. I ordered the Spicy Chicken and my wife ordered the “ Szechuan” Chicken. Her “ Szechuan” Chicken was breaded, had a red sauce on it and had some spicy red peppers. My Spicy Chicken was breaded as well. My chicken was okay, but I liked her chicken more. Fast forward a few weeks later, now New Year’s Eve. We both wanted the “Szechuan” chicken that my wife had weeks prior. So we order our food online, to pick up at 6:30. I show up just before that time and they told me it would be another 10 minutes. We finally get our food and get home, our chicken is not breaded, has some clear whiteish sauce, and vegetables in it. So we call them and tell them we have the wrong food, they tell us to bring it back so they can look at it. We bring it back and I try to explain to the young cashier, last time we ordered Szechuan chicken, it was breaded with red sauce. She started to argue that their Szechuan is not breaded. I said well last time we ordered it, it was. I checked my prior receipt, and it did say we ordered Szechuan Chicken. I shows her and she repeated it is not breaded. She said that sounds like General TSO’s chicken. And I tried to tell her well whatever it was last time, that’s what I want instead. She walked away asking the cook if their Szechuan is breaded and he said no. She came back arguing about it being Szechuan and would not listen to anything I was saying. We told her to just refund our money. Apparently last time we ordered “Szechuan” Chicken, we got General TSO’s Chicken but didn’t know it. Never really had either one. I don’t know where good customer service has gone, but it’s a lot different with this younger generation working. The cashier being rude and arguing would not have been okay when I was that age working with customers. Try actually listening to what customer is saying before speaking and arguing. When you order food here, I guess it’s a mystery bag of what you’re really...
Read moreThe food here is okay, not the greatest, but not the worst either. The service is HORRIBLE. I ordered delivery from them and the girl who answered the phone sounded like she was half asleep the whole time. She couldn't do basic math to figure out if I qualified for a coupon that had a min order amount to get (I literally had to tell her X+Y=Z so I have met the min amount to qualify for the coupon). When I tried to tell her my address for the food to be delivered it was more work than getting to the moon and she couldn't seem to grasp the concept of what an apartment building was and didn't believe me when I told her I lived in apt Q, (why I don't know)! When I got the food, which was not that long of a wait, I noticed that the total was much more than the state tax would have bumped it to, so I tried calling them back. It took four attempts of her answering and mistakenly hanging up the phone before I finally got through to tell her I had been overcharged. She went from near comatose to outright rude when I again had to point out her faulty math and instead of admitting she had overcharged me told me to consider it a delivery fee and hung up on me. I feel like given the way I was treated, two stars is overly generous, but I'm trying to account for the fact that maybe the actual owner didn't overhear the way she talked to and treated me and that they would never treat a customer that way. Long story short, the food and delivery time were decent and well within expected, but the customer service factor pretty much negated that. I won't be back and highly advise others not to patronize this restaurant, at least by delivery. Hopefully in person you would get a...
Read moreMy wife and I decided to go here after years without going. It was good when we used to get it for lunch when we worked together near by. We went on a Friday and took the kids. It wasn’t busy only three other tables so no wait was nice for a change. We ordered drinks at first then after the only guy on the floor was finishing up with the other tables. Wasn’t too long but I’m impatient and was looking to order. He was really nice and kept on top of our drink refills. We ordered three different dishes Beef Lo Mein, ham fried rice, and sweet and sour chicken. The soups weren’t very hot which seemed a little sketchy but both the hot and sour and egg drop soups had great flavor. The beef in beef lo mein seemed artificial and had a funny texture. Sweet and sour chicken had good flavor and everybody liked it but I’m not a fan of so much puffed breading surrounding a relatively small morsel of chicken. The ham fried rice was ok and tasted of artificial smoke which was different than I’m used to. It was nice to try something different than our normal spot in our neck of the woods but will wait until I go back for a good while. The young man helping us was so nice I wish I had better things to say. I’m sure he would have made any problem right if we really had said but overall just a mediocre meal. We left with so much food I was going to try and feed the homeless along Antelope. How about offering half order’s so I don’t have to smell that wasting food in the fridge? Is there a dish here I should have tried? What are other options that are good when you need some Chinese and you’re in...
